I normally don’t leave reviews like this, but the experience I had here was incredibly disappointing, and honestly, upsetting. As a military family, we’re used to businesses recognizing military dependent IDs, especially on a day like the 4th of July when we’re supposed to be celebrating the people and families who serve this country. Unfortunately, this business refused to accept a valid military dependent ID, which felt not only dismissive but downright unpatriotic given the occasion. To make matters worse, when I asked about a gluten-free option or accommodation for celiac disease, which, for the record, is a federally recognized disability under the ADA, I was brushed off. Not only did they refuse a military discount for it, but their overall attitude made it clear that medical dietary needs weren’t a priority here. This is ableist and completely unacceptable. In a time when inclusivity, accessibility, and respect for military families should be the standard, this place failed on all counts. I hope they seriously reevaluate their policies and attitudes moving forward. No one should have to feel excluded because of their health or the way they serve this country, especially on Independence Day!

I love Tea & Crepe!! It's not advertised but the crepes are gluten free/friendly! Made with rice flour. If you love sweets this is one place you are gonna want to check out!

Visited Olive Garden at 380 17th Ave NW in Rochester and had a very pleasant experience. The location is convenient—just off Miracle Mile Mall and close to several hotels, which made it easy for us to drop in after errands . The restaurant exudes casual, family-friendly charm with a clean, relaxed dining area that felt inviting. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated promptly around lunchtime. Service remained attentive throughout—even when it got busier. We enjoyed the famous never-ending breadsticks along with house salad and soup. The salad was fresh and crisp, and the soups were warm and flavorful . For entrees, I chose the Chicken Parmigiana and my daughter enjoyed the Fettuccine Alfredo - both generous portions and classic preparations that hit the spot. It's a solid choice for groups and families. Prices are reasonable (most entrées under $30) and there are gluten-free pasta options if anyone in your party needs dietary accommodations. Overall, it offered good value, tasty comfort food, and service that kept an upbeat pace. Highly recommend this Olive Garden location for a casual Italian meal in Rochester - especially if you're craving warm breadsticks and a cozy dining atmosphere.

I was able to order gluten-free walleye. They can accommodate allergies. The server was great, and it was quiet, so you can talk with others. The gluten-free fried pickles was great.

Just finished a delicious meal here, and it was a 5/5. We’ve had high end sushi in Los Angeles and this is definitely up there in quality and service. The lobby is very pretty and impeccably clean. It’s also pretty laid back and quiet. Compared to our recent poor Fargo sushi experience, this one knocked it out of the park. Our whole meal only took an hour and our food was ready within 20 mins, cocktails, appetizers, boba teas and all. The taro tea tastes authentic and wasn’t overly sweet which I appreciate, because so many other “taro” flavors I’ve had are really artificially floral and kinda gross. Johnny was a super awesome server and very polite and fast. He also made us laugh taking our IDs and had a great sense of humor. The bartender also made delicious drinks - we had the tokyo tea and pomegranate flirtini - both stellar. The food was beautifully presented and super tasty. The shaggy dog roll is both ours and our kids’ favorites, but all were amazing. Our whole meal with 7-8 rolls, a side of vegetables and teriyaki chicken entree + 3 cocktails and 2 boba teas were 170$, and staff definitely earned their 25% tip. We don’t go out often because we intend to splurge on the art and skill it takes to make a meal like this extraordinary, but we’ll definitely be back and budgeting for another great experience. I’ve also sampled their to-go service for a few rolls, and that came out right on time and was just as good in quality. If you’re celiac/gluten free, you can’t be guaranteed to have no cross contamination when dining out, but staff here really tries and will label/separate your soy sauces and do their best to accommodate an allergy restriction. Thank you so much to counter/serving staff, sushi chefs and hibachi chefs that prepared our meal!
