The chowder is great…4 flavors to choose from and all gluten free. The bread served with it is not gluten free. Chowder has a nice amount of real, fresh seafood. Lots of crab meat in mine that was claw crab meat. The ice cream was not good. Not good because there is xanthan gum in it. There’s no reason to put gums in ice cream. To me cheap ice cream has gums. Gums suck up liquid. So the ice team ends up with a dry feel/texture. I had an ice cream bar and it felt warm and dry . Yes it didn’t drip on me, but good ice cream drips as it melts. I looked at the ingredient list on the other ice cream in the to go freezer, and they had gums. So I didn’t get more ice cream when I went back the next day. That said, if you like gum ice cream, they do have interesting flavors. Be prepared to spend $7 for a scoop.

There is a lot to like about this place and I would return bc I want to enjoy their marinara sauce. Someone I was with had it with pasta and it smelled so delicious! I had their seafood pasta, gluten free, and it was good. However, there were several whole garlic cloves in the sauce and I was surprised they weren't minced or chopped. The outdoor dining was perfect and there is a lovely view. Brittney, our server, was very attentive and accommodating. I would share a picture, but this website didn't allow for that.
