A must visit if you are celiac and want to enjoy gluten free beer and food. I came on a Wednesday not knowing they have happy hour on food and beer so I tried a few beers and pupusas as well and oh boy, both were amazing. The bartender was a nice guy, explaining the different type of beers. Need to come back soon!!

The food is a bit pricier than competitors in the local area and according to the portion size received. However, I would not let that be the one deterrent that keeps you from patronizing the establishment. The food tastes great!
Additionally, limited parking and the narrowness of the parking space can be frustrating during high peak hours.
Gluten-free options are available.
For patrons that are limited in mobility and in wheelchairs, the establishment does not provide unencumbered access. Can be quite the challenge to enter and exit the establishment with a wheelchair or crutches without major assistance.
Uhhhhh this pizza is so good. Unbelievably good. And the XL pizza is the biggest you've ever seen. LOADED with toppings. The gluten free is really good- maybe the best I've had.

I cannot emphasize enough on the fact that Malek Egyptian Cuisine creates and delivers on some of the BEST food I’ve EVER had in the many years I’ve lived (and in the many places I’ve lived and traveled to 👌🏽🥇!) Every single dish that I’ve tried from Malek is a flavor explosion on dancing across my palette (and I’ve tried just about all of their “Mac” & koshari dishes and all I can say is WOW! 😮 ). Just in case you don’t know this about Malek, what you should know is that all the ingredients they use are organic, grass-fed, hormone-free, GMO-free & gluten-free (their organic, grass-fed cheese is friggin IMPORTED for crying out loud 😳 🤯!). And don’t even get me started on their scrumdiddily-umptious dessert they have aptly named their “Date Me” dish (I’m salivating just thinking about those yummy, nutrient-dense, superfood-packed squishy little date balls 🤤!). And not only is their food DELICIOUS, but everyone who works at this gem of a restaurant are all so incredibly kind and thoughtful, that it might leave you wondering if they might be from another planet 🤔. And yes! Everything about Malek Egyptian Cuisine is THAT amazing 🤩!
Cozy vibes and flavorful, fresh pasta make this spot a top choice for casual dinners or fun date nights in Portland.

Pastini is a must-visit for pasta/comfort food lovers! From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and friendly service make you feel at home. The pasta is fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection and the meat balls are the best!
They also have gluten free pasta for anyone with gluten sensitivity. Perfect for date nights or casual dinners with friends or coworkers. Looking forward to my next visit!
With a unique train seating for kids and a lively atmosphere, it’s a spot where the experience can be hit or miss.

I’ve gone to Mount Hood brewpub many times, and I always love the environment especially on a sunny evening. They also have had the best gluten-free pizza I found in Portland. ( but out of dough last two visits) However my experience recently was quite distasteful. The staff were rude and they allowed these two large dogs in the bar area, who barked loudly at everybody moving in the area. The dog owners appeared to be friends with the staff as they hung out joking together for two hours. It was disappointing to have the 18% gratuity built-in when in fact, there wasn’t great service. I will try again. Hopefully it was just an off night.
A hidden gem in Portland, this family-owned spot offers a unique Thai/New York fusion in their sushi, a mellow atmosphere, and a tasteful decor.

Not gluten allergy friendly! It was delicious but I’m in so much pain now and I probably won’t be able to keep it down.
Great choice if you don’t have a gluten allergy
One of the best vegan/gluten free options for Mexican food in Portland! The staff is super friendly and they hook up the portion sizes too! Love this spot 😋
Love this spot! Great sake selection. Amazing sushi. Gluten free menu is not labeled and limited but they do have tamari and can accommodate allergies.
