Chef Amber was amazing. I needed a celiac-safe gluten-free meal, and she talked through options, knew which items were safe, and oversaw the cooking herself. Jade was really helpful and friendly in putting together everything we needed for our lunch in the waterpark.
We spent a wonderful four nights and three days here. Staying at the Mountaintop Lodge at Lake Naomi gives you full club privileges to the Lake Naomi Club. More about that at the end of the review. The lodge itself is extremely well maintained and run. Our room was the smallest in the lodge but we knew that when we rented it. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and in all it was a good stay. Now for the relevant part. The included breakfasts were amazing. Everything was prepared to order. This included choices of several types of eggs, breakfast meats, hash browns, and optional fruit bowl. They also offered gluten-free pancakes and gluten-free bagels. They are extremely knowledgeable about cross-contamination and very careful. The bagel was beautifully toasted on a “sizzling pan” in the oven. Orange juice was provided in a carafe on the table as well as water. Coffee was served in an insulated carafe, both regular and/or decaf. If you're a coffee fan, they also operate a takeout area for sandwiches and lunches and several kinds of coffee. As a guest at the Mountaintop Lodge you can get coffee all day at any time they are open. The staff was welcoming and our stay was very comfortable. Now on to the Lake Naomi Club. This place was unbelievable. They have about five separate swimming pools, one of them indoors. They have several beaches on a large, beautiful, private lake. There is a community center included which houses the indoor pool, jacuzzi and steam and sauna. It also has old school table games like air hockey, ping pong and fussball. Gluten-free food is available at many locations including fries (dedicated fryers), buns and pizza (separate oven). Staff was knowledgeable. Did not get sick the whole time!
This review is for not just the entire staff at Cino Ninos but for server Edwige Sahiri and server Paul Brown. My family and I love the resort and we have been visiting for a few years now twice a year. We live on Long Island. We take the trip out and it feels like a peaceful home away from home. We met Edwige last year during our visit and she made our experience extra special. It was extraordinary to see someone go above and beyond with a smile on her face and she made us feel so relaxed and taken care of. She made the birthday celebration we had extra special. We saw her again this year and I recognized her instantly, that beaming smile and her consistent kindness to customers even to rude customers, she beamed. I wanted to thank her on here. I had also met Paul Brown, a hard working young man that made my experience a real treat by not only being professional, making an incredible cocktail but also very accommodating over the few times I struggled with the menu and even got the receipts wet. He made an effort to also (while busy) make sure the time felt easy and comfortable. Thank you so much! Great, affordable, delicious food and drinks and if anyone has celiac, this place is excellent for you! Everything taste delicious. The guacamole is creamy. All tastes so fresh! My son doesn’t like veggies in his taco and they had them removed. I have a gluten allergy and I ate every kind of dish since we have been going. It tastes amazing, especially the carnitas. 😋 The drinks are top notch!
Delicious gluten free chicken wings and salad options! Awesome food and a very welcoming and homely atmosphere but also professional and clean.
A shame we live in Australia so we can’t have the wings more often!
Highly recommend!
Nice spread of food. Gluten free options always a plus! It is expensive (75 for 2 adults and 1 kid), but that's to be expected at a resort. Our server Ann Marie was excellent! Very attentive and great with our 4 year old. Very sweet lady, so shout out for excellent service!
I really enjoyed my time and service at this ice cream parlor. The thing that stood out to me though was that they have gluten free sugar cones. Since i can’t have gluten i was very excited to see that they had that. The ice cream overall was very good too. They have this outdoor eating area that was very nice and spacious to eat at. 5/5 stars!!!
