Recent empty nesters, my husband and I LOVE our Home Appetite order each week we are in town - always delicious and reliably gluten free, diverse weekly menus and staples for our many young grandkids! No more need to order in, go out or cook every night - we have our own personal chef with Home Appetit❣️

I have celiac disease and hardly eat out because of cross- contamination and the fact that most people don’t understand the disease. I mentioned my concerns to the waitress. The manager came out and asked all the right questions. He reassured me that he has other customers who can’t eat gluten as well. He was very informed on what may be inside their sauces, including shrimp paste in case I had a sea food allergy. He assured me they would wash the pan before they made my food and they would be no cross-contamination. I had no negative effects at all. I really felt like they care about their customers. On top of that, the food was DELICIOUS! My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our food. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were large. We loved the presentation of the food too. The bathroom was very clean which tells me that the kitchen is as well. We can’t wait to go back! My only tiny critique was that I didn’t see a need for the television to be on and maybe the lights could be a bit more dim. It was very comfortable however. They had plenty of cushions if you needed them to prop yourself up to the table. A fantastic experience! Try them today!
Reviews indicate disappointing cheesesteak options but praise for accommodating take-home alternatives.

They do not have gluten free cheesesteaks. I Just called to confirm it. You can get the meat and cheese to use your own roll at home. I have done that many times. They do have a decent gluten free cheese pizza. Our family loves Thunderbird but I am looking for a place to get a gluten free cheesesteak with a gluten free roll and this is not the place although google led me to believe it was.
With a cozy vibe and a standout avocado toast, this spot is a must-visit for a refreshing break and a varied menu that keeps people coming back.

We ate there for the first time in this location. Better experience at other locations.
PROS
-- Coffee was good and plentiful
-- Water (when we got it) was cold and refreshing
-- Clearly delineated gluten free and accommodations made! Awesome on that front!
CONS
-- Service was slow and insufficient (responded to gluten free issues but super slow to come to us, only a couple of touch points, never asked us how things were, didn't bring water, seemed to not care much)
-- I ordered a bacon hash special, which was a complete rip off. Less than one piece of mangled bacon. Potatoes were undercooked. Egg (ordered over easy) was overcooked. Chili sauce was not discernable. Absolutely bland, flavorless. The onions were the standout of this dish, which is damming with faint praise. Probably $1.50 of basic breakfast food repackaged poorly and sold for $16. I felt defrauded honestly. Most disappointed I've been in a dish in recent memory.
-- Other people at my table also mentioned, without me saying anything, that eggs were overcooked and potatoes undercooked.
-- Coffee mug was sticky
-- Bathroom sink felt like a carnival game: just try and wash your hands without touching the bottom or the faucet or the basin of the sink
-- They accommodated a child seat but left the seat it replaced, which created an uncomfortable seating situation and a logjam for foot traffic.
-- Cost. Expensive for what you get. Felt ripped off.
All in all, it was three adults and one 5 year-old. Almost $80 not including tip. Granted, we ordered some extras like fancy coffee drinks, a smoothie, and an app. But worse than a basic diner on the food and not great service. Definitely, not an experience that I thought was special in any way.
If you can't get value, potatoes, bacon or eggs right as a breakfast place, you suck. If you're expensive and don't create special moments, will not return. I suggest you don't show up in the first instance.

Great place, friendly service and a vast variety of treats, dairy free, gluten free, truffles, souvenirs with ice cream and creamy ice cream 🍦 🍨 Wow!!!
This is the second time it has happened that we pick up our food, come home, and my sons burger does not have the gluten free bun we ordered (we both have celiac disease). We order out when life hit hard that day and we need a fast dinner before he goes to bed. I ended up having to give him mine. Mistakes happen, the food is delicious, but if you offer an option that caters to a specific diet (which may include allergies), extra care should be taken to ensure order accuracy. There are no guarantees with cross contamination, but what can be controlled is order accuracy. We won’t be ordering here again.
One of our favorite restaurant. Have had success with safe gluten free at this restaurant. Have not had any allergic reactions to food. Limited gluten free menu. Parking can be difficult. Love their takeout.
Celebrations shine here with delicious catering that impresses and accommodates special requests seamlessly.

We ordered a catering meal for my sons First Holy Communion and it was absolutely delicious! Christine made every effort to accommodate a food allergy and even provided extra gluten free salad to accommodate a gluten allergy.
The food was delicious. I highly recommend their food and catering service.
