This cafe is simply exceptional. Thank goodness for the sign on US151, or I would never have known to stop by. The last thing I expected in rural SC was an outstanding vegan meal. Without question, the best vegan burger I’ve ever had. The best vegan and gluten-free burger bun I’ve ever had! Soft! Beautiful-tasting! And the burger itself? Bloody incredible. The special sauce was the kicker. Everything about this burger was uber delicious. The fries were excellent as well - perfect size, perfect handcooked taste. The meal was so large I could have taken some back to the truck with me but I wanted to eat it all in the restaurant because I just loved being there. A very safe place for trans people 🏳️⚧️Great music!! Wonderful, wise messages on the wall from the cafe’s namesake, Eliza Jenkins. Her granddaughter Markeyshi, the owner (pictured), and her talented cook gave me such a warm welcome and a restaurant experience that I will always remember. Thank you so much 🧡 Worth driving for from Montana. Worth travelling from Aotearoa NZ 🇳🇿 for, for that matter! Giving Eliza’s a 500-star recommendation. Hope I can return very 🔜

This was our first time eating at a Firehouse Subs. Really cool place a lot of firefighter memorabilia, and they dressed up the inside real nice. There's about 12 to 15 different subs you can get, and then you can custom make whatever you would like. For bread options, they have white wheat and gluten-free. I opted for the firefighter sub, which had roast beef ham and turkey on it, and I got it on wheat. It was absolutely one of the best subs I've ever had. They have a pepper sauce that is like a mild barbecue sauce, and you have got to try it. It was phenomenal. My wife opted for the turkey club, and she said hers was excellent as well. I would definitely stop into one of these again if I was near it
With a charming atmosphere and perfectly cooked dishes, this place is a must-visit gem worth the drive back for.

Accommodated Celiac gluten free sub well, cleaned slicer, all 3 employees changed gloves, brought out lettuce from the back. Had UDI gf buns and UDI gf snickerdoodle cookies. Clean bathrooms. Good stop off I-95. I tipped well; they did a good job.
Enjoy a lovely atmosphere where you can customize your meal to suit your needs, all while savoring standout dishes like egg drop soup.

As a person with highly symtomatic Celiac disease this was a great experience for me. Most things can be modified for gluten free. EXCELLENT egg drop soup!

Sometimes it's hard to eat healthy while traveling, so I was glad to eat some salad for lunch from the salad bar. All the ingredients looked pretty fresh, and it was easy to make a salad that was gluten free.
AWESOME little store! Tons of options for allergy friendly foods. Super friendly and helpful staff. This is my go-to place whenever I’m in Florence to buy gluten free bread (they have my favorite brand), dairy free butter, various supplements, and any other allergen free ingredients I might need for cooking.
Only cons: slightly expensive for some of the products but most items are pretty reasonable in comparison to if you bought it somewhere else or online.
Definitely stop by here for any allergy free foods you need or supplements, great store!
We are from NY and we hunt for organic options while traveling, which is sometimes impossible. This is a GEM! I had the burger with caramelized onions and hand cut potatoes and it was delicious. There are organic and gluten free options. The white bean chili was incredible. I met the owner who cares about the quality of food she offered. I also bought 4 unique jellies in a gorgeous French collectable glass. It is also called "Peck Away Cafe". Will be back!

Youthful vibe with mixed service experiences; cleanliness and order efficiency need improvement, but there's a dedicated area for unique dietary needs.

This is an update. I went here last night and there was a bunch of younger people working. One was super friendly but kept screwing up our order. The girl who prepared the subs was a bit rude, didn't take my gluten allergy seriously, and just had an overall attitude that she could careless if she were there. The place was also not kept clean as customers came and went. They were also behind on online orders. I hope this changes because I like this location.
DIL on gluten free diet. It was her birthday and her choice was pancakes for supper. The waiter served all of our meals and waited until then to tell DIL they were out of gluten free batter . We would've have never gone to IHOP if it wasn't for the availability of something for her to eat and enjoy.
Always a delight! I've bought batches of the cake pops twice and they've always been a fantastic hit with everyone. Wonderful service each time I visit, eager to help and answer questions. Great coffee and macaroons as an alternative to those who are looking for
something a bit lighter. For those with a gluten free diet there are yummy gluten free cupcakes.
A cozy spot with rave reviews, perfect for a delightful breakfast experience and known for its warm hospitality.

We had a wonderful breakfast here. Traveling through for the holidays and read the great reviews, which are all true, and decided to experience it for ourselves.
Highly recommend the platter!
And if you are gluten intolerant, as I am, the owner offered some nice options.
The owner is just lovely, and so welcoming! Highly recommend this place!!!

This is my new favorite spot for healthy cuisine. The Phenomenal Burger is titled quite accurately. As someone who struggles to find gluten-free dishes when eating out, this burger delivers. It's a veggie burger on gluten-free pita bread with your choice of toppings. I was stuck on this sandwich for weeks. I had to make myself try something else. The Protein Bowl is delicious. I also had this prepared with the veggie patty instead of the choices of chicken, salmon, or shrimp. You choose your vegetables and sauce to go with it. The staff is very friendly and actually want to know what you think of the food. I almost forgot, they have a fantastic selection of drinks and smoothies to go with your meal or to enjoy on their own. Enjoy!
