Small college town grocery mart, similar in style to a Whole Foods or fresh market with lots of natural or locally provided items. Prices can be higher than expected for certain items, but the variety or gluten free or vegetarian options are wide.
I give the VM three stars because it’s varying service due to college students running the hard labor positions. Sometimes lines can be long with a single register open, and lately I have seen many expired items on the shelves! But with there no sale policy of expired items they will let you return the item.
With a unique split concept featuring a restaurant and smoothie bar, this spot serves up delicious homemade plant-based meals that keep customers coming back.

I was quite impressed with this unique restaurant and two restaurants in one. The restaurant is on one side and smoothie bar/ ice cream.
I have to give a shout-out to Bianca for the yummy smoothie the first day I came in. She made me a blueberry, honey, and peanut butter smoothie. I was given an option for thick or more thin. I chose the thick options and enjoyed it. Bianca also took the time to explain the history and all the gluten-free options I could choose from, which she didn't have to but took the time. That was a great touch for someone doing a review.
I heard so much about how good the veggie burger was. I came back another day to try it. The bun was made out of corn and flat, but the burger was very juicy with lettuce, tomatoe, and onion. I was also happy they had a dedicated frier so I could have the steak fries.
Would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely
Would I return to this restaurant? Absolutely
Don't take my word for it. Go see for yourself.
It's a vegan / plant base restaurant. The price was reasonable for the high quality food.

This vegan eatery is Ah-Mae-Zing! I had broccoli “beef” made with what must be their own gluten for the beef because the texture and flavor were the pinnacle of any seitan/gluten I’ve ever had. It had such a delicious tender texture and mouth-watering savory flavor that I craved piece after piece in my mouth! The sauce made the broccoli savory with just a hint of sweet tangy goodness. The rice was fluffy and so perfectly cooked that it mesmerized my mouth. I wish I had one of these places in my town, and whenever I’m in Chattanooga, I will make sure to eat here every time.
