The food was great. We had the pulled pork and the brisket. For the sides, we had baked beans, coleslaw, and potato salad. Brisket was super tender. The potato salad was not my favorite, but the rest was excellent. My wife has celiac and was able to have a great gluten-free meal with no cross contamination. Not all of the sauces are gluten-free, so make sure to ask.

WOW! That’s the only thing I have to say is WOW!! Before I could eat anything, my eyes were jumping all around the restaurant looking at all the different meals and smells. I was in complete disbelief, and had NO idea what to eat! Literally everything looked good… once decided, I had the Tofu Green Curry! It was vegan and gluten free! The meal made me want to melt in my seat. I also enjoyed a refreshing “Bubbly” (lychee vodka champagne drink). I was in cloud 9. This place felt like home!! The atmosphere was cozy, yet welcoming! The music was fantastic. Everything was clean and prepared FAST!! Now, about me server Jake.. 10/10! He was killing it today. I would remember asking for him!! You won’t regret coming here. Honestly.. this place deserves a Michelin star.

Great experience tonight at the reopened Chago’s. So glad this spot is back open but I think the food is better with the new owners. We had a burrito, pork taco, barria taco, chicken sandwich and salmon avocado entree. All were very good. Barria and salmon were outstanding. My wife has to eat gluten free and the menu is well labeled with a decent number of gluten free options. The prices are a tad high and the services was a tad slow, but we were not in a hurry. everyone was super helpful and friendly. Love it with all the doors open. We got a great night weather wise and really enjoyed our time there. Great new setup and atmosphere. Food is wonderful. Oh, almost forgot, the street corn was excellent.

I was on a work trip to Nashville and wanted to treat the office that I was visiting to some good local food. They recommended Proper Bagel, and they were so correct to. Not only was the food delicious (ordered a bunch of bagel sandwiches, yogurt, and coffee carafe to go), their service was above and beyond. They learned that I was the only person who will be carrying enough food and drinks for a whole team and needed to take it out to my Lyft when it arrives, so they insisted -- several times! -- on waiting outside with me to help me carrying it all. I kept telling them that it's fine, I'll figure it out, but they said that it wasn't a big deal, and I am so glad that they did because I severely overestimated the amount of hands I have. Not only did they carry out everything, but they even went across the street with me because that's where my Lyft driver parked. And the food! The bagel sandwiches were cut in half, so we got to sample different types. Our gluten-free staff members also loved the yogurt with granola and were thankful that Proper Bagel was inclusive with their menu. If I'm ever back, then I will not hesitate to order from them again -- and I will bring help this time :)
