Extremely authentic southern Indian restaurant tucked inside a grocery store! One of the best Indian food experiences in Seattle. Gigantic dosa. Plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options. Can’t wait to work my way through this menu.
I’ve been to afternoon tea twice—returned after an amazing experience the first time. I didn’t realize it had new ownership. Now they have none of the amazing gluten free options they once did. My friend and I felt like we were served tea for one and had to decide who was eating each item. It was noisy. Our table was so tiny and we felt rushed to wrap up so they could turn our table. Sadly, I’m not interested in going back (unless I just want to grab a tea & sit outside).
Amazing Gluten free spaghetti. It had a fantastic text and flavor. They changed out the water and got a clean pot so the pasta was completely safe. The owner seemed to understand exactly what I needed it was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had since being diagnosed with celiac. I hope to go again soon.
Incredible is the best way to describe the whole experience from the excellent, knowledgeable waiter greeting us to the last drop of coffee. My daughter and I needed gluten free, vegetarian options for dinner on August 25th. The Tantalus had perfection in everything, lentil soup, moussaka, dolmas, spanakopita(I am not gluten intolerant) and the best Greek coffee. I am unable to fully explain how delicious the food and delightful the experience.
Celiac disease sufferer here. I went to this place for the first time tonight on a whim, and boy was I pleasantly surprised! They had lots of delicious little tapas style plates that were gluten free and absolutely delicious.
Their menu is not marked for allergens, but our waitress was knowledgeable and very helpful!
I ordered the artichoke, ribs, figs, and carpaccio to split with my boyfriend and it was all great!
The patio was absolutely lovely.
