The food is fantastic! Super friendly staff and they're very accommodating. They offer foods that are gluten-free and vegan/vegetarian. Prices are also very reasonable. Indoor and outdoor dining options as well. There's always a nice selection of snack items available and there's always something new to try. Our kids are always excited for a trip to Dean's Den!
Enjoy a thrilling ride on the Greenbrier River Trail, then stop by for great coffee and bike repairs just a few blocks away.

Cycling on the Greenbrier River Trail with my husband. We had lunch here. We were able to ride off of the trail and cycle just a few blocks for great coffee and great food. My husband had the aus jus sandwich and I had a gluten free Hawaiian sandwich, and all of their sandos can be made on a GF bagel! Props to the Dirt Bean! You made my day. Plus, bike repairs and bike stuff can be bought here!
Cool place with great outdoor seating, limited options for gluten free folks, the skillet with sausage potatoes onion and peppers is really good.

Feb 2024 Best food in Marlinton. Tried the surf and turf special and burger. Both great. Second visit had a large salad and soup and sandwich. Overall good food. They accommodated special requests. One or two options for gluten-free or vegan diners. Service was friendly and appropriate to the number of customers. Plenty of parking.

This is such a charming place that is not too far from Snowshoe where my friend and I skied for a few days. It is much more affordable than staying at snowshoe and the owners are so friendly! We stayed on the top floor and it was very spacious/clean/cozy. We especially loved the homemade breakfast each morning. It was fantastic and such a treat! Paula even had gluten-free bread for my friend and I which was a nice surprise. One day she even made us gluten-free French toast which I haven’t had in years. That was such a kind gesture. I will definitely stay here again in the future if I go to snowshoe. Highly recommend!
