This is the best grocery store within a hundred+ miles. If you want to buy dairy-free or gluten-free - they have lots of options for special dietary needs. Plus they have lots of meat and premade meals and sushi.
The only complaint is that some items which I would like to regularly purchase are not stocked up. Maybe the items I am thinking of are being phased out.
Besides that, most normal items are well stocked and this is a very large store with a ton of variety. They have a store brand, I believe, it may be called Four Brothers or something like that. I purchased a few items of that brand and was not impressed and it was not worth the cost. I just wanted to share that.
Lastly, the people bagging the items are the sweetest, friendliest people I have ever met and they make my day every time I am there. Thanks!
Under new ownership, this spot is known for its attentive service and amazing cauliflower crust pizza, with a remodel coming soon.

First time here & was pleasantlly suprised they had a gluten free burger. They knew the imporatnce of serving gluten free & took precautions. The burger was delicious.
They were great to make sure my shake would be gluten free. The were really careful about cross contamination. I was impressed. Real good service and great ice cream.

We chose to go here due to having celiac disease and needing to be gluten free. At first I wasn't sure they knew what I needed, but then the waitress took great care of me. She brought out my salad first and my entre first to make sure it had the right care taken. The food was delicious and the service and atmosphere was great.

Great fudge and candies, not sure how to compare on price. While there was not clear indication on whether or not certain things were gluten free, the staff did take the time to check and share ingredients to check if it would be safe. I'm sure we will be back the next time we are in town.

Thank you for providing safe gluten free options! It is difficult for our family to eat out in Hayward as we have one adult and one child with celiac disease. The only gluten items on the menu are flour tacos (I would also avoid the fryer if you have celiac), otherwise tacos can be made on corn tortillas. The sweet lady assured me she cooked my daughter’s chicken separately to make sure it was safe for her because she has celiac disease. Thank you for providing a vegetarian option too in the avocado/black bean tacos. Our family appreciates it and we will be back!

Our party of 7 was delighted by the ambiance of this coffee shop! The shop boasted beautiful baked goods & gluten free options separate from the gluten filled options, which as ceileac I appreciate. Beverages to accommodate a variety of dietary needs: sugar free, caffeine free, dairy free, etc. I'd give them 5 stars for clean, cute, delicious and kind. Even during a busy time the staff worked diligently with peace & kindness, which we don't always get in our big city coffee shops. Upon leaving I spoke with a Hayward local who was enjoying her beverage at the outside seating & she gave a raving review of this wonderful shop & the history in Hayward. This is a must try! I'll have to add it to another of my Google lists, so I visit again!
Robin's Nest Cafe is my favorite place to eat in the Hayward area. I've tried almost every item on their breakfast menu and everything is amazing. They have homemade breads, daily specials which are always creative and delicious, and they have some gluten free options. They serve full breakfast and lunch until 2pm. The portions are filling, the prices are reasonable, and the service is some of the best you'll get in the area.
Accommodating Gluten-Free
