We ate there on Jan 27, 2023, arriving a few minutes early for our 6:30 reservation and were seated immediately. The bread with the spicey cheddar butter was an excellent start. The butter was not "hot" spicey. I put it on the excellent (but pricey) stuffed mushroom we got as an appetizer and on the baked potato I had. Our entrees, smothered chicken and the Friday Night baked walleye, were excellent. The walleye was definitely a cut above what you'd expect from a typical Friday night fish fry. We got the gluten-free brownie topped with ice cream and whipped cream for dessert. Even though I usually am not a gluten-free person (I like my food with extra gluten), it was also excellent. Our server did a wonderful job on a night where it was crowded and she was kept very busy. We made an excellent choice in our Friday night dining and we will definitely be back. We were there last night with 5 adults friends and our 1 year old who has food allergies. Our server was great and understanding of the allergies and was quick to answer any questions, and quickly let us know they had gluten free options for our baby. We were surprised and happy! The only thing I would change is to add a vegetable side for the kids menu like broccoli or carrots etc. Our food was all delicious.

Excellent breakfast and service. Had my favorite Corned Beef Hash skillet and more importantly, GLUTEN FREE TOAST! So if you have Celiac like me, you can enjoy toast and Sandwiches with their gluten free bread option. Nice hometown feeling. First but not last time we visit! Thank you!!
