I have been going to Puerto Iguazú for a long time and, despite the opportunities, I had never been to “Tio Querido”, because I am a big fan of another restaurant.
The place is frequented by a large number of tourists who fill the place every day.
There are tango performances and traditional music from various regions of Brazil (due to the tourists) and also Argentine music to immerse the customer in the culture.
The service is sensational! Los Hermanos know a lot about food and, in every place or market they visit, they will have information about food composition. “Tio Querido” is prepared and its waiters are acculturated by this inclusion of information - especially because their diet is different from ours. As a celiac, I was surprised when I asked for bread - gluten-free - and I was delighted by the knowledge of our waiter - it would be a lesson, I did not understand the explanations on the subject.
For those with allergies who may, with caution, visit mixed cuisines - “Tio Querido” is fully prepared to welcome you.
The presentations take place at intervals. This makes eating and conversion easier.
