Beautiful location to organize a party! I celebrated my 50th birthday there last week. We were allowed to decorate the room ourselves and everything was very well organized during the party. For example, a gluten allergy had to be taken into account and all the food was carefully and safely prepared. The staff was also knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Big compliments!

The outing on our 55th wedding anniversary in the "Wapen van Hengelo" was a big disappointment. The meat for the main course was out of stock. The dessert was not gluten-free, which was well communicated. Toilet paper was not replenished anywhere in the toilets. Two of the 4 toilets had a loose roll, the other two had nothing! Our three-course dinner lasted 2 hours and 45 minutes. Too bad, you wouldn't expect this from such a location! In compensation they offered us two drinks.
