Don't go if you want gluten free food. They advertised many, many options but don't have a gf frier. I ordered the burger, they said it would come with no bun, swap chips for potatoes and would give me more salad. The potatoes were completely undercooked, the salad was a few pieces of iceberg lettuce and a tomato and they then had the cheek to charge me £1 for removing the bun! Very inedible burger meat also. They just need to remove gf from their options completely.

Excellent location and views. My 90 year old
mother and I went to Dartmouth for 5 days and for two days we had a lovely hot breakfast with good service.
On the last day (start of the music festival) it was a different story. We arrived at 9.10 and was their first customer. I ordered gluten free smashed avo with poached eggs plus bacon from the menu. My Mother ordered smashed avo and poached eggs with no toast.
I heard the chef complaining about what to do with the avo with out toast? He also told the waitress not to deviate and stick to the menu???! No toast is such a deviation.
A couple arrived after us and one ordered smashed avo and poached eggs. He got his and ate it before we received ours. The waitress advised ‘dont worry yours is coming.’
When it came we only had one egg each and I was sure the menu said two and on previous days we had had two. I got up and checked the menu by the door and that was correct- two. I told anr waitress and she said she would speak to the chef. She didn’t as he was stressed. I asked for the bill which was for the full price even though we had both only had half a breakfast!!!
The bill included service charge which I asked to be removed.
The bill was for £34.20 and I left £34 cash.
The waitress ran after me for the extra 20p! I said you have got to be joking. We have just paid full price for half a breakfast. She agreed to remove one of the breakfasts. Nit at all a good experience which is a shame as the other two days it was fine.
