I usually go to the Southbury and I have their cauliflower bowl which is amazing I’m vegan and gluten free and have food allergies. Is the one thing I enjoy with my husband. Well , we decided to go to the Prospect one because is closer to home. I ordered the same thing I always do and it was missing the beans! Barely any rice. Mostly greasy carrots topped with spinach and avocado. I don’t know what that was, but it was revolting. It ruined my night out. Definitely not the same as Southbury.
This charming spot features a welcoming and friendly atmosphere with rustic decor and natural wood accents, creating a family-owned and run ambiance. The attentive service ensures a safe and comfortable gluten-free dining experience for all guests.

Went here for the first time based on this place winning best pizzeria in the area. I can honestly say this was the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my entire life. Now it was 4th of July weekend, and because of that, the service was very slow, but that can be expected, so no big deal. But I can overlook that for good food. I ordered a gluten free pizza (I have a wheat allergy) and my husband ordered a regular pizza. When our food finally arrived, my pizza just looked unappetizing. But looks can be deceiving, so I gave it a chance. It made me gag from the first bite. It was somehow undercooked, with cold sauce and congealed cheese. Now, before people say no gluten free pizza is good, I have had many very good gluten free pizzas in the area. Luna Pizza in Naugatuck and Modern in New Haven for example. But this was inedible. I took a few more bites just to see if I was not giving it a chance, but no. It was vile. My husband said his pizza was ok, but I had him take a bite of mine just to make sure it wasn’t just me. He took a bite and also gagged. School lunch pizzas tasted better than this. When the waitress asked how our food was, we let her know that the pizza was inedible. She just said “oh, it’s the gluten free crust.” Ok, then why was the tasteless sauce and congealed cheese bad as well? We had to have her take the entire pizza away, because this is something I wouldn’t have even fed to my dogs. We reiterated a second time, that my pizza was inedible. She said sorry and we were still charged for food that neither of us could eat. I’m not one to ask for a refund on something I don’t like, I’ll usually chalk it up to it was to my preference. This was just inedible. But glad I got to pay for inedible garbage. Again, my husband said his pizza was okay, but we will never be returning here. I don’t know if they were having an off day, but serving what seemed to be microwaved pizza to people is inexcusable.
