I have grown up in Barrington my whole life and Ambrosia is hands down the best bakery in town…including the neighboring towns. In my family, there is no holiday, birthday or celebration that would be complete without a cake from Ambrosia. Our absolute favorite is the chocolate flourless (my grandma demands this cake for any occasion)! This cake is naturally gluten free which is great for anyone with dietary restrictions. We always laugh because those that are not gluten free will even opt for this cake over any other option… it is THAT good! Their cakes are beautifully decorated with the most intricate and gorgeous script on it. Any time I have a bite of this cake I feel the warmth of my family and it tastes like home. I still commute an hour each way to stop at Ambrosia now that I have moved. Of course, I get the hot chocolate with the homemade whip cream (also to die for)! The staff here is so incredibly kind and they always remember my name and order. Ambrosia is unmatched in quality of their offerings and hospitality of their workers. I couldn't recommend it enough!❤️
