I really want to like this place. The bartender was friendly and they have gluten free options.
But I have two gripes: I got Obie's Bowl and it had no greens! This is partly my fault for not fully reading the menu, but it would be so much better with at least some vegetables.
Second, they use way too much garlic. Please, just tone it down!

This is such a great spot! The vibes are cozy with just a few little tables, Swiss motifs in the decor, and a little window into the kitchen--it feels really intimate, like you're in a bed and breakfast almost. The menu is really fun and has an old-world, hearty feel. The food was delicious! Also worth noting that many things can be made gluten free (for Celiac, too), including many of the sauces and schnitzel, which was an awesome surprise. The service was friendly and relaxed. Awesome little hidden gem in Alberta!
