Sabrina was kind, informative, and very friendly. The food was the perfect size and the taste was excellent. We had the Korean Noodles with chicken and being somebody that is Gluten free it was amazing to have friend chicken options!!
Nestled away from the downtown hustle, this cozy spot boasts a stylish interior, quick service, and generous portions, making it a local favorite.

This is my go to place to take my family when they come visit me in Walnut Creek. Everything we have tried off the menu is delicious and they are so accommodating of allergies and dietary preferences. I’m gluten free, my mom is vegan, and my dad has a nut allergy and they are always so good about making any modifications and confirming them.
A vibrant vegan café with a chill vibe, amazing drinks, and plenty of seating, it's perfect for hanging out or grabbing a delicious bite!

Easily my favorite cafe of all time! Rooted is a completely vegan space, so for those of us who are lactose intolerant there is 0 chance of a mistaken order making you sick. There are also lots of gluten free options. The only dietary restriction I would avoid this place for is a nut allergy, due to the vegan recipes being nut heavy.
I don't think I've ever had a bad order from here. The menu is quite large with food, drinks, and pastry options. The food is well portioned, especially for a cafe, no tiny disappointing avocado toasts here! The staff is extremely friendly, some of the nicest baristas I've ever encountered. Being a vegan cafe, there are more non-dairy milk options here than any other cafe I've visited (oat, almond, macadamia, and soy), personally I recommend the macadamia. I highly recommend the churro latte with macadamia milk + the avocado toast make it fresh + the omega donut. The donuts are definitely "healthier" than your standard ones, but even my friends who aren't into items like that still enjoy them.
The space is well set up for a large number of visitors with long communal tables near the door and standard tables near the back and outside. There is also a comfortable couch seating area. The vibes in here are fantastic with lots of plants as well as local art exhibitions. On weekends, there is sometimes a DJ outside spinning. It can get crowded easily though, most weekends it is a bit of a struggle to find a table, even with all the seating.
I just wish they would bring back the "churro waffle sticks" from a few years ago! Those were the best item on the menu, but they've been gone for some time now.

Torsap is our go to for special meals. My son has celiac and the staff (hostesses/wait staff) here are exemplary at making sure his food is gluten free without cross contamination.

What a wonderful, plant based experience! I love the location and the cleanliness. I hope to see Palmetto Superfoods in every city in America
Our family has loved eating açai bowls for over 20 years now, so I was really looking forward to trying these, because I keep hearing that they are the best of the best!
As a vegan and health food aficionado; I had a huge smile once I saw ALL of the plant forward options, wow! I could come here EVERY DAY!
In fact, when my daughter found out that I was going here today, she got so jealous that she had some delivered to her in San Francisco as well. she said " yes mom, the hype is true, it's the BEST IVE EVER HAD"
Thank you, Gina!
Step 2- I had the BYOB w a mix of açaí and blue butterfly pea flower chia pudding as the base,
Step 3- hemp granola vegan gluten free
Step 4 - Allll the fruits
Step 5- macadamia nuts, PB, coconut shreds, pumpkin seeds, date honey, flax seeds, cacao. Also, you can top it all off with a vegan condensed milk.
I hope they open up all over the Bay. Superfoods are everything and they know how to do it right!
A popular lunch spot with diverse offerings, plus rotating desserts; expect quick service but lunchtime can get a bit busy.

The pasta and napa salad made a great combination. They were out of desserts except the gluten free chocolate chip cookies, which were hard and stale. I would still go back for the entrees!
