My family and I recently celebrated my June birthday at Mellow Mushroom in Wake Forest. The entire staff was friendly, every person we passed spoke to us, and our server Lilly was an absolute delight. We had wings, cheese pizza, a calzone, and a gluten free Kosmic Karma that were all of exceptional quality. Lilly even surprised me with a (free!) birthday pretzel in the shape of a flower because I mentioned how my father and I love lillies and flowers after she introduced herself. That was incredibly thoughtful and it honestly made my day. My dad wasn't half way through lunch and was making plans to return for his own birthday.. in April.. but I'm willing to bet we make it back to see you guys before then! Thank you Lilly and thank you Mellow Mushroom! ❤️ 🍄 🍕

Our server Rosemary was friendly and attentive to my allergies. I was excited to learn their chips are fried in a dedicated fryer that's gluten free. I had the Pastor tacos which were gluten free and dairy free, they were great!

This is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in the area! I've lived here over 25 years, and it's been a challenge to find good quality, authentic Indian food. I've been here several times, and have ordered a wide variety:biryani, naan, paneer, dal makhni, saag, gobi manchurian, and malai kofta. All absolutely outstanding! I've added pictures below of the chicken biryani and Malai kofta. They have recently updated their menu too, and it identifies common allergens such as vegan, and nuts. All the entrees are gluten free too. Definitely will be back!!

Sharing a review specifically for Sean, the General Manager of the Wake Forest location I came in during the dinner rush while all employees were juggling online and in-person orders. I have both an allergy to gluten and dairy, and had also made a mistake in my online order. Amidst the chaos of the dinner rush, Sean was calm and collected, and communicated kindly that he would check the status of my sandwich, and personally made the desired change when he saw it hadn’t been made yet. This was while still serving the needs of the customers in line. He continued to go above and beyond in making sure that I did not experience cross contamination or exposure to allergens, even remaking my sandwich immediately upon realizing that cheese had mistakenly been added. Throughout the interaction, he was extremely quick and efficient while also providing a customer service experience that never once made my allergies or complicated order feel like an inconvenience. He remained kind, calm in a chaotic environment, and attentive to the needs of employees and customers around him.

The food at Curry House is absolutely incredible! I recently discovered this gem on DoorDash, and today, a coworker suggested we order takeout for the office. The food is also of much higher quality than the average restaurant. Amazing service, delicious food, and on-point ambiance. All meals are cooked to order. While takeout is good, dining in is even better. Kushal is an impeccable host! I've been to Wake Forest many times and had no idea that Curry House existed! This is a fantastic little Indian place with a sizable menu that clearly lists gluten, dairy, and vegan distinctions. They also ask about spice tolerance on a scale of 1-10. Everything we tried was delicious, and we will definitely be back! Curry House has become my favorite place to eat. I love how personal Kushal has become; he knows my order and is always so nice. He consistently goes above and beyond, and that is very much appreciated. I will forever love Curry House—it feels just like home. Also, their momo's are to die for! If you love dumplings, you have to try them. They are perfectly steamed with flavorful fillings and just the right amount of spice. Curry House has truly captured my heart and taste buds!

I take anyone who visits to Paul and Jack's --sometimes more than once during their stay! They have an incredible pastry selection and phenomenal coffee. Don't be dismayed if the line at their Raleigh location is out the door, they are well-staffed and work quickly to serve all of their customers. The baklava cheesecake is stunning and they have several gluten-free options.
