My teenage daughter and I were visiting from Portland OR for a concert. She really wanted teriyaki but we found out recently she has celiac disease.
Happy Teriyaki was the 3rd restaurant we called and the only one with a gluten free option. The woman who took our order was very kind and the wait was worth it. I asked if the sauce cups were gluten free as well and she said of course and used my name. She was so kind and the teriyaki and rice were absolutely delicious. The best part is my daughter felt great the next day. Highly recommend.

Celiac here and ordered to go what I thought was gluten free for myself, they promptly called me back to clarify and offer other substitutions(huge points in my book) The lamb was amazing, so tender and flavorful. Also ordered for my non celiac family: the street fries, gyro sandwich and gyro plate and they had nothing but compliments on how tasty and good everything was. Seems we found a new favorite. We have come here multiple times and never disappointed. Tonight they went above and beyond for our sons birthday. I can't tell you how much we appreciated the care they took. To top it off I am someone with fairly sensitive Celiac. I have never gotten a reaction eating here. They actually grill my chicken and cook the gluten free pasta in a separate pot when I ask. This means a lot to me since it is so hard to be safe at restaurants. Thank you!!! And a special thanks to the Manager (or owner?).! She is amazing!
