I have been dining at True Food in Annapolis for over three years, and I always find the food, service, and atmosphere to be excellent. This restaurant is my top choice for dinner because they offer a wide variety of dishes and are accommodating when it comes to food allergies (dairy-free and gluten-free), which is rare in this area. Highly recommend the Turkey Burger and Ancient Grains bowl. The staff is fantastic and very attentive, but James V. truly exemplifies exceptional hospitality. We need more people like him in the world. His energy and overall service make each visit genuinely enjoyable. I can confidently say he embodies the respected essence of hospitality (or what it should be).

We ended up here on a whim the day of the fall festival. It was crowded but we were seated very quickly. The service was great and was completely unaffected by how packed it was. They had gluten free options available (even dessert, which is rare). I had a BLT on a gluten free bun AND a gluten free strawberry shortcake. I will absolutely be back.

This is one of my favorite restaurants! The food is freaking delicious and it is a place everyone can enjoy. Their wine is excellent. They offer a great selection and wide variety of options including items for vegetarians, low-cal, gluten free, etc. They even have mocktails and alcohol free wine! The service can be slow sometimes, but in general is very good. I recommend making a reservation in advance. They are often fully booked.

Our group of six had a terrific brunch here last week. The food we ordered was varied but all received high marks. The coffee was not as great as reported by the server. One glaring error was the lack of a gluten free menu. Our server was not really knowledgeable about gf issues and had to ask the kitchen for information several times. Really recommend management rethink its approach to this.
