I went here today with 6 members of my family. We had a great waitress, she was very friendly and attentive. We all got something different as far as our meals, and everyone was saying their food was delicious. One of us had the gluten-free pancakes. She said they were great. I got the Fried Chicken Salad. It was very good. My only complaint is that the bowl they serve it in is not user-friendly. While it is nice to look at and makes the food aesthetically appealing, you can't lay your fork and knife on the edge as you do when you're eating. 🫤 I had a great cup of coffee, and others had Mimosas. The restaurant was busy the entire time we were there. There wasn't a spare table, and people were sitting at the bar. But, the service is quick and the flow of people was moving quickly. We all agreed we will go back soon.
I chose this restaurant while I was in town specifically because I have celiac disease and they had items on their menu that were clearly labeled as gluten free. What I was able to eat was delicious, but their gluten free labelling on the menu is incredibly misleading.
I asked our server if the tortilla chips (labelled gluten free) on the menu were fried in a fryer that also fried foods that contained gluten and was told they are. So not gluten free.
I asked if their corn tortillas for the tacos were warmed on the same surface as their flour tortillas and was told they were. So they're not gluten free. This sounds like an insane distinction if you aren't familiar with celiac disease, but I have had tacos make me sick this way in the past. Our server asked the kitchen to warm them differently and it was fine.
And again, my tacos were delicious. I appreciated that the server communicated with the kitchen to warm my tacos. But if I had trusted the menu (or I guess just ASKED if things were gluten free vs asking specifics about how items were made) I would have spent tonight very ill.
Tazza is my top pick in the Columbia area. You need to make a reservation, ideally a day or so in advance. Our table was ready at our reservation time. Our server was attentive without hovering and he was knowledgeable. I am Gluten Free and there are several items (appetizers, sides, main course) labeled as GF. I also do not drink alcohol and they had 3 mocktails on the menu. The food is delicious. Complex flavors, and combination which I either wouldn't have time or the ingredients to make at home. We don't go out to eat often, but I truly feel that it is always worth it to eat at Tazza. I always leave satisfied.
Cantina is always my go to restaurant especially in the city! The roasted chicken tacos are always my favorite! They have so many gluten free options too! The service at the bar or if you are sitting at a table is always amazing! The manager was very informative on higher shelf tequila and helped our group out tremendously! I will always recommended cantina! Can’t wait to visit again!

Robert was the BEST server I’ve had in a long time! He took very good care of our table of Celiacs and also took a second to train another new employee about allergies! A true treasure!

I enjoy Longhorn every few weeks. Regardless of when I go the staff is top notch with service that exceeds expectations. They have numerous Gluten Free options that are delicious.
I tried this restaurant after recently learning of my gluten allergy. The gluten free burger I got was pink.
My husbands burger was pink and we sent it back twice. They obviously cook the burgers too fast with the heat too high. The gluten bread was hard and the fries were dark and hard also. We asked for more fries twice with the same outcome.
The staff were nice and friendly & discounted our meal but they need to re evaluate how they cook well done burgers.
Busy sit down breakfast restaurant🥚🥓
Very good food. Even has a bar area you can eat at. Some outdoor seating. Large menu. Some gluten friendly options. Lots of drink choices. Coke products including Coke Zero. Food came out very fast on a busy Saturday morning. Service is friendly and checks on you often.
Located not far from downtown Columbia in a vibrant area with restaurants, shopping and bars.
Parking can be a bit tricky. There is a small parking lot and on street parking. There is also a free lot up and behind the building a little hard to find.
Went 1st time last night. Love the atmosphere... they were playing Sinatra, soft jazz, etc when we got there. Bumped up to more contemporary, but not too loud, which was great for conversation. We ordered the 1lb mussels w/Thai chili...YUM! And Beef Borganion...good but could've used more wine. Tuesdays are 25% off bottles of wine. Nice surprise. I do wish there was a goat dish on the menu! The duck tacos were fabulous (& Gluten free if matters for you). We will be going back! OP (or Opie?) the owner and Johanna or server were very gracious!
