Still one of our favourite places to order sushi. Quality, friendliness, portion size, and price are all 5 stars. They are also very aware of Celiac and gluten-sensitive conditions and have always made us aware of any items on the menu and will let us know if they can’t change it.

Shout Out to Gateway To India! Wow!!!! We just had the BEST experience! By far the absolute best Indian food I have ever had. The sweetest woman (also the owner), Sandy was absolutely wonderful and so welcoming. We had so many courses of every different dish and I can’t even explain how amazing everything was! NOTE: I am gluten free and I was able to have basically everything except the naan but she brought me a special gluten free naan. This family who owns Gateway to Indian are local to Nanaimo and amazing people! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
