Absolutely loved this place. Cosy inside without being cramped. Plenty of choices for dishes and everything also comes gluten free if requested. I had the special lion’s main satay starter and nasi lemak for main (both pictured). Starter was very good but the main was out of this world! Potato curry was one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth. All of the elements complimented each other so well. There were 6 of us and the bill came to £192 with all of us having starters, mains, sides and desserts, very reasonable price. 4 out of 6 of our party are meat eaters and we all enjoyed the offerings very much. There’s plenty of options that don’t involve mushrooms and/or tofu if either of those put you off. It seems popular and not many tables so would recommend having a reservation.
Jessie (not sure of the spelling; with the cool dyed red hair) provided excellent service; she was really on it with the allergens, being knowledgable of what alterations can be made to the dishes to make them gluten free for my gluten intolerant sister, making sure to bring out the gluten-free dishes directly to my sister amongst a very big order for a party for 8, and even proactively ensuring the gluten-containing wasabi was not put on the dish, when we didn't even know wasabi wasn't gluten free. And she was also just really lovely and friendly. We had a great time eating here and practically rolled out the door after our meal. Thanks!
Good choices for Gluten free options 👍 only gripe is that despite ordering at the till for takeaway the last 3 times they've got my order wrong and I've had to wait to collect another- I should really check before leaving !
Generally they have provided tasty and well liked food by our family- most as non gluten free and have no complaints.
Lovely quick option! I've only had the pad Thai with prawns so far and their coolers. They have plenty of gluten free options and I'll be stopping by again. Milena was friendly and armed with excellent recommendations!
Nice vibe, friendly staff, and good sushi. Prices are reasonable. Recommended for gluten-free (including Coeliac) as there's a good range of options.
I got takeout and there was an issue in that I was given regular soy, not gluten-free (individually packed, so no cross-contamination risk), and it wasn't clear from the receipt that the order as a whole was indeed gluten-free. I called them and staff were helpful and reassuring that indeed everything was in order, and the soy was just an oversight when packing the bags. They were correct: everything did prove to have been gluten-free as intended.
My favourite restaurant in Edinburgh! I’ve been multiple times and the food just keeps getting better! The portions are so generous and the prices are extremely reasonable! Great service as well 😊 in vegan and gluten free and there are so many delicious options
Fresh and delicious sushi.
Very kind staff and super attentive to allergies.
Allergens are clearly indicated on the products, ideal for those intolerant to gluten and lactose.
Staff was friendly and accommodating and food was superb. Delicious green curry that was perfectly spicy. Generous portion and safe for gluten free / coeliac.
We went here earlier today 15/06/25 and it was really nice. Hubby is gluten free and most of the menu is coeliac friendly which is fab. Portions are good and a good selection on the menu - quite a lot of chilli so if you are not a fan choose wisely.
Staff lovely- we were served by Eileen who was very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable of any dietary requirements.
My only one issue is that it was really chilly - make sure you have a jumper/ jacket even if it is 18 degrees outside.
Thanks Pho- we will be back. Restuarants like this deserve return custom x

I love this place. They’re waiters are lovely, the music is great and the whole vibe is fun. The menu is massive and great if you are vegetarian as you can sub most meat for tofu and vice versa. Similarly, loads of gluten free options. Only downsides - you often have to queue, their flavoured negroni is a bit too strong on the lemongrass/ lychee and you have to pay for rice separately which always puts me off the curry
