No Bones is a beautiful outdoors, covered restaurant. The dining experience is fantastic with friendly staff, fantastic cocktails and delicious food. The menu is creative with bright flavours. They were super accommodating to my dietary requirements, catering for Coeliacs and even had a gluten free fryer. We left perfectly satisfied and are already looking forward to our next visit.

I was excited to eat here because it looks like a nice place. But I ordered a gluten free toastie from the menu and my friends ordered the non gluten free version and mine came out smaller than half of their toastie. Both my friends and I paid $18 for it so I would’ve expected the same portions. I went up to ask why the portion was so small and all they said it was just because the bread is different, quite rudely and not understanding towards me. If the staff were understanding and fixed the situation, I would not be writing this complaint. Also gluten free bread is really no more expensive than normal bread at Woolies. I had to go get a meal somewhere else after. My coffee I ordered also took 25 mins to come out and when it did it was freezing cold. The price of my entire meal was just not reasonable for the portion and wait times. I’m not one to complain but I wish they would’ve assisted me better. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed dining at the Mez Club. They do a contemporary take on Moroccan food. Excellent food and very creative cocktails! Many of the dishes are vegetarian and/or gluten free. The crème brûlée is a must try! Staff are lovely.

My favourite cafe in all of Australia! I come here all the time and food, vibes, and service never disappoint. The smoothies are heaven and the soba noodle salad ... yuuum must try. Lots of vegan and gluten free options too + dog friendly :)

Service was fantastic. Food was fantastic. My only slight issue is when ordering set menu if gluten free there’s a lot of veggie dishes, I love vegetarian food but would still have liked some more meat options.

I have been hanging to try this place for ages and it did not disappoint. It’s hard these days to find good food that’s worth the prices. The place has a great vibe, the food was unreal, prices were decent compared to a lot of restaurants these days, the staff and chefs were super accomodating to both mine and my partners allergies & gluten intolerance and the cocktails were probably the best I’ve had in a long time! Will be back 100%.

Food and drinks were lovely but service and venue are not good for a group booking. I would recommend considering other restaurant options for following reasons: - booked for 19 guests ($3000 spend), one person was sick on morning of and we were still charged per head for them - no flexibility with the group booking policy even with unforeseen events. Also charged for a whole extra person, there has been communication with the restaurant regarding this and they have communicated they will refund the extra charge but not the ‘no show’. - On arrival, the restaurant was very quiet for weekend lunch service. Staff were not friendly (except one male waiter, short with brown hair) or welcoming, in fact we almost felt we were an inconvenience. This continued throughout our entire experience at lunch. - they could not accomodate or move tables together so that 18 people could sit together. We were sitting on two adjacent tables and separated. The reason they explained for this was that by putting two table together “it would interrupt service to other tables”. As mentioned above the restaurant was quiet and there were no other guest dining around us at all for the entirety of our booking. - We had provided dietary requests upon making group booking and were informed via email that the booking notes would be updated. Staff came to take our order and they did not appear to be aware we were having the banquet and had no prior knowledge of pre-notified dietary requirements. - Additionally, there was no indication that we would then be charged extra for food substitution for those with allergies. Ie charged extra $9 for roti for someone anaphylactic to sulphites and someone who is coeliac - I can appreciate extra charges for substitutions but the restaurant didn’t consider crediting us when we only ordered 9 desserts instead of 18. Of course ordinarily I would not have expected credit for this but I think some flexibility and consideration for the extra charges for dietary would go along way! - Fans above tables were not working and we were told they were broken. Summer in Byron bay is hot! Overall, Bang Bang has fallen short of providing a smooth experience for a celebratory group booking and I would consider the multiple other dining options in Byron.

Love love legends pizza! Easy online ordering makes it simple to customise a pizza. Friendly service. Good gluten free crust. Loads of quality toppings to choose from. It’s ready on time and weighs a lot when you lift it. Makes my mouth water as I’m walking to my car! Decent value for Byron-the giant pie is big! And I like the parking at the new local-east to get in and out of! Again, rare for Byron. Won’t be disappointed with your pizza from legends! Good job guys!

The cafe is outstanding, it has a charming ambiance that gives you a Bali vibe, and it's just a stone's throw away from the beach. The customer service is excellent and the staff is very welcoming. Sales assistant is not the brightest and she's really rude. I asked a simple question about the difference between the seconds products and the full price products and she stared at me for ages, then gave a stupid answer, something like "well, the gluten ones have gluten and the non-gluten ones don't". Not really the place for attitude when I was expecting an answer that would reassure me that although they're seconds the taste is fine, they're just not the right shape or something like that. Anyway, I was going to buy a lot more but not with that attitude, ended up only buying a couple of things. Visit was on 4/11/2024 and an old woman served me.

Super happy. Was attracted by the drum circle playing opposite. 💃🏼🪘Got two gluten free fish and chips to take away, perfect for watching the sunset at the waterfront. Havent had fish and chips for ages because it’s hard to find gf, and the oil can be hit and miss. Fishheads were attentive with our food allergy requirements, and the oil tasted clean, & fried light & crisp. Best tartare Ive ever tasted. Great beachside date. 🌿🌞💎🌊✨

This may not make sense but I feel like I’m in the setting for a cute rom-com. The music was 👌 The food was 👌 The atmosphere was just 😙👌 The staff were 👌 Oh, and I’m Coeliac and the pesto was 👌 I love the small menu - easy to pick, and the speed of the service was LITERALLY 3 MINUTES - not exaggerating. We started playing Phase 10 and got like 3 turns… then our food came! Reasonably priced (especially in Byron). Real roses on the table, so cute, and just 👌

My husband and I had a great time here. The service is superb and a very welcoming vibe. One of the best part was, they actually have a full Gluten Free menu for people who are coeliac and for others who prefer a gluten free diet. The atmosphere is just classy. We both loved it and definitely coming back.

So much more than a bakery, this place makes epic food, chill and enjoy the relaxed vibe with a freshly cooked breakfast, freshly made rolls, pies and quiches the best in the bay - don't get me started on their breads, try their rye sourdough - fav! We ordered a gluten free cake for a birthday bash and everyone said it was the best choc cake they had tasted, the staff are so friendly and chilled - hard to find these days! Ticks all the boxes - there is something for everyone!

One of the best comfort food in Byron Bay, generous portion of rice and chicken with a balance of salad, Quick service and looks like an authentic Japanese food. Some other menu could be gluten free or dairy free I like the sharing long table so if you ever feel like talking to your neighbouring table while having your dinner you can do so easily. Price about $20 per plate. Highly recommended and will go back again.

Atmosphere, decor, drinks and service were good but not being able to switch out/ request any changes to items on the menu is disappointing. Eg, "can we swap the meat on the chacuterie board for additional cheese, to cater for vegetarians?" Was met with a "no.. we can only swap the bread for gluten free bread" bizarre.

The best falafel i’ve ever had! I’m coeliac and was a little worried about eating here but was assured that the falafel were cooked in a dedicated fryer etc. I had a gluten free wrap which came with lots of falafel, salad, lettuce and delicious tahini sauce. Didn’t have any side effects after eating so I was very happy! Staff are all very nice too. It’s quite small so hard to get a table in the shade but couldn’t fault the food itself.

Exceptional little cafe in the heart of town that locals continue to visit for the same reason staff: mostly the infamous Duncan! A man renown for his strategic capability and customer centric standpoint. An absolute gem to the community. We've been meaning to leave a review for a while and finally got around to it! LOCATION: Centrally located with ample on street parking and outside seating - allowing for those with dogs/ large prams etc. MENU: Ample options inclusive of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. STAFF: Attentive and incredibly lucky to have Duncan on board - a celebrity can-do guy of sorts in the Australian community. Whether he's helping out with the dishes, food service or management - like all of us who visit - if you manage to get here on a day he's helping them out - you won't be disappointed. OVERALL: Great little spot to eat in town with a true steward of customer service on board.
