I have no idea how this restaurant could have anything above two or three stars. The food was frankly, vile and inedible. My egg was served with a raw yolk, the avocado spread is premade and of low quality, the smoked salmon was gray around the edges. The gluten-free bread upon which everything is based is an amateur’s best- it’s crumbly, dry, powdery and tasted unbaked. As someone from the United States from Portland, Oregon, where there are plentiful gluten-free options, it also felt like an overpriced poorly done attempt to replicate something in the States instead of something authentic they have a frame of reference for culturally.
This intimate spot offers a welcoming atmosphere with a single cozy table, perfect for those seeking a dedicated gluten-free experience. The friendly service and wholesome ambiance create a safe haven for gluten-sensitive guests, emphasizing comfort and care.

Good fresh baguettes. They have a gluten free sandwich which our daughter really enjoyed! The smoothie was synthetic and way too sweet.

Discovering the Hizica bakery was a real discovery! Their gluten-free dumplings are amazing and I miss them so much since I went gluten-free. But not only that, they even offer burek (and much more) - something I haven't tried yet, but I can't wait to do it. At the first opportunity, I order everything I can carry. This bakery is a real treasure for all of us on a gluten-free diet!

Restaurant recommended both by the owner of the Airbnb where we stayed and by Lonely Planet: we couldn't go wrong and so it was! We found excellent fresh fish dishes typical of the Croatian tradition. Grilled cuttlefish and octopus with a side dish of chard and potatoes, truly delicious. Naturally gluten-free dishes (the staff proved to be knowledgeable on gluten-free issues). We had dinner at one of the outdoor tables in a street in the center near the seafront. There was no need to book: just a short wait for a table to become available.
