Bywater Bakery made the cakes for our wedding, and they were outstanding. We had a traditional Chantilly cake and a chocolate Chantilly cake with strawberries, both of which were delicious. The owner, Chaya, sat with us herself to design the cake and made us feel right at home in the bakery. They also made sure to add gluten free and vegan cupcakes for our guests with dietary restrictions. Best po’boys in “N’Orlans” by far. The atmosphere felt really homely which added to the overall experience There’s a bit of a line to order for good reason. There were a fair few NOLA locals that we met here that all said it’s been their go to lunch spot for years Gluten free options were available where they essentially just removed the bread and left the filling.
