I don't know if it's just me, or if it's because I'm blessed to live in Cleveland, but after visiting this bakery 2-3 times over the years, I feel like the bakery items just aren't very good. Cleveland Vegan in has Pattycake outdone by miles, Vegan Doughnut Company, also very good, there's several out of home vegan bakeries that have pop-up shops in Cleveland that are also splendid. The Sweets Geek in Willoughby even makes all of their products vegan and gluten free and allergen free are very tasty. Lastly, my favorite, Evexia Cafe in Aurora, where I purchased my vegan wedding cake was marvelously done.
I hate to sound negative, but ultimately this is a negative review. Pattycake's bakes may have been good back in 2010 when there were not other options, but since then, the vegan world has expanded and I feel like Pattycake isn't meeting the mark.

I eat gluten free cuz it causes bad headaches and my body hurts like I have the flu & it causes belly issues for my daughter. I was in Columbus to meet a friend and googled gluten free bakery and this placed popped up. The staff member was very nice and helpful, explaining what was gluten free and preparation. I ordered 1/2 dozen donuts with various toppings. I got to my daughter's to share and on 1st bite our eyes grew wide and we both said "they aren't dense! They are light & airy!" They were sooo delicious!!! They are pricey (but what gluten free items isn't??!!!) but worth it to be eating a gf donut that tastes like a regular one. I highly recommend. I would not recommend for celiac because they do make "regular" flour donuts. We will be back!!!

We had a birthday celebration with 22 of my female relatives at Mozarts yesterday and it was above and beyond our expectations. I LOVE Pistacia Vera!! The pastries are delicious and are beautiful to look at. I have a severe nut allergy and it really stood out to me that they labeled baked goods that contained gluten and nuts. I struggle being able to eat at bakeries and it was so wonderful that they were accommodating. When I have traveled to Europe, I am never able to eat any of their pastries, so I really appreciated the extra time and effort Pistacia Vera takes into ensuring guests can safely eat their baked goods even if they have a dietary restriction. My sister who has no dietary restrictions loves this bakery as well. She says they have the best macrons in town! I just received my second order, your brownies are amazing!! However I am not a fan of the Gluten Free Red Velvet is way too sweet and seems like the sugar was gritty in this one so I definitely will not order that one again. We ordered New Orleans Iced Coffee and an Egg Sandwich with Bacon and gluten free bread and to go box of cinnamon break, banana bread and scones.
The coffee is really good, I don't know what they put on it but it has a hint of a different flavor and its pretty bold and strong.
The egg sandwich is great! No wonder people line up early in the morning, we were there around 1030ish and the lines weren't letting up all the way till noon (maybe even after?). The eggs are fluffy and it has a pretty unique taste that's probably a signature of their sandwich when you've tried it.
Our sandwich was late for some reason but they refunded it (basically it's free!) So all in all 5/5! Must try before taking a stroll at the nearby park!

This is a very cute coffee shop with a good amount of drink and bakery items! Their menu did have options to fit some dietary restrictions, like gluten free and diary free. Parking is limited on the side of the road, so you have to park in a parking garage next to the building. Besides a difficulty with parking, the coffee shop is very accessible. The menu is very large on their wall for everyone to see. The staff was very helpful and polite. However, they don't have a lot of seating and the seating is not very spacious. It is not very noisy in there, so people often get their work done at One-Line. Overall, I think it is a great place to grab coffee at.
