Coffee was good but that’s not why I’m writing this. I stopped off to grab a pour over and got behind two interesting patrons who got to the front of the line and inquired about gluten free options (the cashier explained the offerings and showed adequate concern only to be told it was a preference and not medical). They then inquired about pumps of syrup and milk options. The cashier again showed concern and offered accommodations to what was once again “preference”. It took these two Karens 15 minutes to order based upon their “ordering for Karens” guidebook and it was handled so professionally. I was so hoping they would be offered some free mushroom jerky but alas they were not. Anyone who could deal with that and take them seriously and not mess with them even a little bit is a saint. I didn’t get my pour over because of the time (my decision) but my cold brew and gluten filled cookie (I don’t have Celiac) were wonderful.

Delicious donuts and great experience. They have gluten free donuts on Mondays. The blueberry French toast donut is our favorite.

A spot with a wide variety of pastries and drinks, known for its gooey monkey bread muffin and wow-worthy peanut butter cookie.

The monkey bread...muffin? I think? was very good and super gooey once warmed up. The banana pudding tasted fresh as well, which was nice. I was hoping they wouldn't have used too ripe bananas because I don't like them past a certain point, but they did not disappoint. I would be willing to return to try other things. Update: I came back and got a sugar cookie and a peanut butter cookie. Both were good, but the peanut butter cookie was "wow". It also had a great texture and I forgot it was gluten free until I went to write this review!

Our new regular stop. My family and I drive through Wardensville often and for some reason never stopped before at Garden Market. I stopped in today and was amazed at selection of organic produce, meats, and gluten free items. My wife deemed the gluten free peanut butter cookies as the “best I have ever tasted.” The prices are very fair for the quality of items and staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back - often!

If this bakery doesn’t end up on the food network I will be absolutely shocked and disappointed. I’ve been to over 40 states (traveled from WA State); and have stopped at hundreds of amazing bakeries—but this ladies and gentlemen, IS. THE. BEST! I got the GF Amaretti cookie and OH MY GOSH…absolutely died and went to heaven!!!! I literally stopped in my tracks while eating there and ended up buying FOUR MORE. Y’all, the cookie was RIDICULOUS. I have never in my life tasted something so darn delicious. I ate it while sipping on my cold brew which was perfect with their caramel syrup and oat milk! Everything else at the bakery looked absolutely mouth watering by the smell of it. I almost risked it all (I have celiac) to take a sample of the GLUTEN DELIGHTS but the cookie sufficed. Will, who I took a selfie with made the cookie as his senior project at culinary school. Will was fantastic, and deserves all the praise for his hard work. This bakery is beyond cute, had other fantastic buys including veteran made jams and honey (which I also bought). I am around WV for the next couple months, and am already planning a trip back before driving back to the west coast. I CANNOT WAIT to be back and see if Will has more fun gluten free creations!

As someone with celiac and needing to eat gluten free items, this places always makes me happy when I can get a treat or two. They have several options that I feel comfortable eating and have not had any issues. Love love love Brownie House!
