The food tasted good BUT there was hardly any of it (think appetizer portion), so I won’t return…paying $40 for ONE tiny little lamb chop cut into 3 pieces is absolutely ridiculous. I would have paid $50-$55 for a proper portion of 3 chops, but they chose to charge $40 for ONE chop.
In addition, asking to hold the deep fried onion fritters (due to a gluten dietary restriction) and add a side salad instead costs an extra $3.50?? Really??? What the actual heck. I still need to go somewhere else to eat and I’m out $130 (including a pretty good bottle of wine.)
WARNING!!! I told the server my 5 year old son has coeliac disease and needs gluten free food. I was told the buns and fries are GF.
2hrs later he was throwing up his guts and had diarrhea all afternoon. Turns out the oil they deep fry the fries in is used for the breaded foods as well.
I called back to tell the sever. She was apologetic and sincerely didn’t know their oil was contaminated. Told me the owner would call to follow-up. It’s been a week and they haven’t.
So here’s your heads up…. PSA!
I’m angry at myself for trusting their advice.
Dined at the London location this evening and was served by Kendra who was very attentive and personable and helped navigate the menu for those in the group with food restrictions (celiac). I appreciated her attention to detail, made for a great dining experience. Thank you.

I have Celiac and am extremely sensitive when it comes to cross contamination. I was pleasantly surprised I had zero reaction! Thank you to our server and the Kitchen Staff on Monday December 5, 2022 around 730pm!! Great experience!!
My wife and I got married back in the summer and Mythic Grill was kind enough to let us have our reception there.
There were 14 people in total and everyone was raving about how excellent their food was that night. Mythic Grill was truly exceptional. The food was cooked perfectly. Everything was so delicious. The 2 servers were attentive and knew the menu to a tee. We had a guest with a gluten allergy and they were very knowledgeable on how he could modify certain items.
Everything was absolutely perfect!! The owner greeted us outside and showed our guests where to park. He walked us out at the end of the night and helped us search for a lost card.
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect night to end our wedding day. Thank you Mythic Grill!!
I had a good experience here, the service was polite and friendly the menu is large and full of comfort food which is well suited for the atmosphere of this place, it's a casual & leaning towards the sports bar concept. I was one of 7 people and all of us were very happy with our food, one of the group had a gluten free pizza (the only gluten free option on the menu) but said it was amazing.
The hostess, server and kitchen staff were all super friendly and accommodated our dietary needs as many of us were vegetarian, vegan or gluten free. The food was very good, everyone enjoyed their meal. The kids enjoyed the aracade and had a lot of fun. Great place for the whole family.
Getaway to Japan at this restaurant! This is the place for authentic Japanese food.
Our meals were delicious, but the menu is small. It would be nice to have some other Japanese specialities added! We were hoping to accommodate a gluten intolerance and the chef went out of their way to make a dish as gluten free as possible (however, this restaurant is not for you if you are celiac).
Beyond the food, we also loved the cute decor and personal service. Looking forward to another visit soon!
I am changing my rating from 4 to 2 stars. Their breakfast was great the week before & I am sure their breakfast is great this week.
Before I could even be seated I was treated by rudeness, indirectly (I don't think the waitress realized how far her voice carries)
I travel alot back and forth from Kitchener to London. There aren't alot of "breakfast" restaurants that I have been able to find. I remember the previous Pancake House that is now Shelly's Restaurant.
The week before (Aug 20) I believe it was the manager that seated me & my son. It was about 10 min before opening, but he was so kind as to seat us so that we didn't have to stand in the hotel lobby.
This week on Thursday Aug 27, was a completely different experience.
Me & my son enjoyed our experience last week, so the obvious choice was to come back.
The hotel reception & the security guard assured us that the waitress would be there soon. We were there about 8 min before 7am, but we were fine to wait.
After a few min, the security guard went in to let the waitress know that there were guests waiting at the front.
I can understand that we all have good days and bad. I've come from a long line of customer service as well as working at our family owned restaurant for over 25 years.
I absolutely would never tolerate rudeness of staff or customers, but I always remain professional.
When the waitress was aware of our presence, she just told the security guard (a little too loudly) that they were not open (clearly did not seem to care)
I can understand if they were not open yet. But we stood there, waited some more and decided to leave. I'm guessing they were not open at all or to have said "we are not open for a few more min.( I mean a few more min after 7 because it was 7:04 on my phone)
So we left hungry, drove down to Cora's which is not open. Then onto Family Circle Restaurant. Delicious homemade everything. Unfortunately no gluten-free bread or non-dairy options.
