I brought my family to this restaurant as I go there a few times a year because two of us are celiac and it isn’t safe in most places to eat out. I usually eat here because of my celiac disease as I was confidant that it was celiac friendly and didn’t have to worry about cross contamination and they cater for celiacs but the last time I was there I was told that the chips , wings and chicken was not gluten free because they were cooked in the same oil and fryer as the rest of the gluten food. I found this very disappointing and can’t understand why this has changed. I will not be returning as it is unsafe as a celiac to eat here. Very disappointed
First time in Dublin this past week and the quays is 100% the best place I have eaten. It's a smaller restaurant, but it looks gorgeous and is connected to a large bar with great live music.
The staff are efficient, polite and above all, friendly. Personable and helpful, and very attentive.
The food was HOT not warm like a lot of places that just reheat premade meals.
And as a celiac I was thrilled with their selection of gluten free options.
If you're looking for a great place to eat or even have a drink, I can't reccomend the quays enough.
Great location and a very unique setting to enjoy a few drinks and some good food. The waiter could not have been nicer. He went to check with the chef as our daughter is a celiac.
Food took a little while as it was busy. Chicken burger & prawns were good. Friendly staff, would recommend!

Great old school Irish pub with live Irish music near the front. Only downside it is that busy you will be in the back and won't hear a thing.
They have Guinness and a gluten free stout on tap. Also has a nice enclosed smoking area out the back away from the crowds.
Great spot for tourists and locals alike
Food was nice and they had a separate gluten free menu with several choices. However the pints (cider and smithwicks) were really bad, I sent back 3 and my hubby left 1 as it was undrinkable. We were a party of 12 but we had to leave and go to find another bar.
One if the best Gluten Free gf meals we have had. Great menu items clearly marked great service. Had the roast chicken which was devine with lovely sides and gravy. Son had burger with amazing fries felt very safe here as a coeliac. Will be back.
Matilda was fantastic we had some dietary requests and she was able to recommend food to suit everybody. Even writing down her recommendations for someone who was celiac.
What a find! We’re staying local and walked past the other evening, so glad we were able to book. Really relaxed vibe an excellent service. Max was super friendly and suggested some great wines. Drinks and food were top class (with good gluten free options) - highlights from the menu served today were the mini steak tartare, smoked eel, ox tongue and turbot. If you get chance, definitely visit!!
Lovely friendly staff, great food options for coeliac, vegetarians as well. My kids are quite picky and enjoyed, so that's said a lot! and our waitress was very helpful and nice will come back for sure!

Definitely come here. If you’re a tourist, please step out of temple bar. They had locals, traditional music starting at 9 pm, and even gluten free beer options! Definitely glad I came.
I was here for an all day meeting and the facilities were fine, good staff and a delicious lunch . Gluten free had 2 choices. Excellent. Great location
This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The food was inedible, took over an hour to arrive, and was mislabeled as gluten-free, which resulted in me getting severely sick due to a serious allergy. The room was filthy (there was actual feces in the bathroom when we got there), the air conditioning and soap dispenser didn’t work, and half the outlets were dead. Room service never showed up. The bedding was rock-hard, the beds were tiny and uncomfortable, and there were blood stains on the sheets. Even the TV barely worked. If I could give zero stars, I would. Do not stay here.
Food was delicious and gluten free wwas well catered for. However, staff were poor, ignoring younger members of our group when ordering drinks and some staff didn't even know what was on the menu
Our waiter Juno was fantastic. He was very friends and accommodating. Would definitely recommend a visit. Ask for the Portugese guy, he's great fun. I only gave 4 stars for the food because there weren't many gluten free options.
I had dinner here with my bestfriend and we choose the secret pairing menu. The food was absolutely amazing and the flavors got even better with the different kind of wines that comes with the dishes. This menu is definitely a must try if you are a wine an food lover. Also the staff here is super friendly and the service is phenomenal even though the restaurant was fully packed! The staff payed a lot of attention for the gluten intolerance of my friend. The restaurant itself has a super cozy interior and that makes this spot perfect for a date night or friends night out!
A really lovely restaurant with a very friendly atmosphere. The service was excellent and we had the pleasure of a brief chat with Etinosa who welcomed us with a lovely smile. The restaurant also caters for Gluten Free which is great to see.

A real Irish pub with great food.
I recently went to the Hairy Lemon, a popular pub in downtown Dublin. The pub is known for its traditional Irish pub atmosphere, live music and good food.
I was there with my wife and we both had a very good evening.
The food was excellent, especially the Irish stew.
The stew was nicely flavorful and the meat was tender. The waiters were very friendly and attentive and they also knew about gluten-free options.
The atmosphere in the pub is cozy and rustic. There is a large bar area, a fireplace and a stage for live music.
Overall, I was very happy with my visit to Hairy Lemon.
It's a great place to spend an evening in Dublin.
If you're looking for an authentic Irish pub with excellent food, you should definitely visit the Hairy Lemon.
