We LOVED our time at cafe 8.98. The service was incredible and the food was delicious. They went above and beyond with my gluten sensitivity to be sure my food was safe. So glad we found it!

Good food, child friendly and very nice staff - especially Joy, Bank and Fon! They played and joked with the kids, and made the experience very good for them 😊
They also had good gluten free food.
I am so glad that I found this place😍. I have celiac (gluten intolerance) and after 2 months of traveling in Thailand I finally found a restaurant where I can eat safely.😍 The owner is really kind and helpful, she even let the kitchen know to be extra careful, clean everything etc to avoid cross contamination (since I can get really sick even from traces of gluten)! I came here every day and literally tried out the whole thai menu haha! My fave is Massaman and Panang curry, but I also tried the cashew chicken, the papaya salad and the pad thai ofc. The food is fresh and delicious!😍 I can highly recommend this place to anyone! They are truly one of the highlights of my trip, and would be happy to come back any time!😊 #glutenfree #gluten #glutenintolerance #celiac
Unfortunately, only the wraps are gluten-free for people with celiac disease and we didn't find them very good. The gluten-containing food such as pasta and Thai dishes were very tasty
I ate here twice on my stay to Krabi and they were able to accommodate a safe gluten free meal both times (I am celiac). I had the garlic chicken with rice and the butter chicken. The service was great and they checked ingredient lists to ensure my safety.
Newly renovated fine dining Italian restaurant. All dishes are unique and prepared with attention to details. It is now our favorite Italian restaurant in koh Samui👍 The venue is relaxed and comfortable, with an indoor aircon room, perfect venue for all occasions. Large car parking lot is a big plus for me. Gluten free pasta is available which taste so good. Every dish taste great, will surely return to try pizza next time.
was from this little place near my hotel. The pizza was really thin and crispy and the sauce was really flavorful authentic Italian . If you're looking for a delicious and affordable way to eat like you're Italy this is the answer. With so many topping options to choose from, we made our perfect pizza. And, thanks to delivery services, we had had a night in, without even leaving the hotel. the wine was very aromatic imported directly from puglia and well stored, reasonably priced. My wife is vegan and was happy to find vegan and gluten free options. One of my favorite spots in Thailand
The place itself is stunning, with amazing views that create the perfect ambiance for a relaxing evening. However, our experience didn’t go entirely smoothly.
About 30 minutes after placing our order, we still hadn’t received our drinks. We had to remind the staff, and surprisingly, our food arrived before the drinks. I’m not sure why it took so long for something as simple as drinks, but it was disappointing.
I also have a cow’s milk intolerance, so I asked the staff if my dish contained any dairy products like butter or milk and whether it could be made dairy-free. Unfortunately, they didn’t seem to understand what “dairy-free” meant and started talking about gluten instead. They said they would ask in the kitchen, which I appreciated.
The waitress later confirmed that there was butter in the rice but assured me they could prepare it without dairy. I was grateful for her effort and happy they were willing to accommodate.
When a different waitress brought our food, since my partner and I had identical dishes, I asked to confirm which one was dairy-free and which one contained butter. Unfortunately, this second waitress didn’t understand what dairy-free meant either. Eventually, the original waitress returned, and both of them started inspecting the dishes with a flashlight to figure out which one had butter. I just wanted to make sure they hadn’t been mixed up.
It turned into quite a hassle, and I really didn’t expect something as simple as requesting a dairy-free meal to be this complicated. While I appreciated their willingness to help, it was clear that terms like “dairy-free” aren’t well understood, which seems to be a common challenge in Thailand.
I don’t say this lightly, but this Thai place was next level good. From the moment we walked in, it had that perfect mix of relaxed vibes and rich, spicy aromas that hit you right in the appetite. the cocktail menu was something iv never seen before and I’m a real sucker for a good cocktail. I give this a 10/10 for our first meal in Thailand and it’s right across the road from our villa! P.S very coeliac friendly!
