Multi family group of 9...3 adults, 3 college guys and 3 younger boys waited over an hour while multiple booths opened parties of 2 and 3 were set immediately after arriving. Our group could've fit perfectly in 2 booths. We actually overheard the manager tell the most wonderful hostess to not worry about the party of 9 when she was working on getting us seated. Our reasoning for choosing Brixx is due to their gluten free menu. Our waiter spilled a drink and partially mopped it with towels. We had a missed order of wings that was mistaken for a pizza which had our 12 yr old starting his meal after most of us were finished. Absolutely uncalled for!!! The food wasn't bad but way too pricey for the serving size. Here is the kicker...Our group split the bill which caused our waiter turmoil. He had us review the split tickets to make sure they were correct. Then he took the tickets and added 20% gratuity onto both tickets without evening asking. I believe in tipping but this should be up to the patrons discretion. This was my family's first and last visit which doesn't bother me one bit.
Sincerely,
Dissatisfied and disappointed!!!
This is one of our favorite restaurants! The best gluten-free pizza! Delicious salads and fresh brewed sodas! So awesome that they have a gluten free pizza cookie! I’ve loved this restaurant since I lived in Texas 15 years ago… quality has been constant.
Great quick lunch. Cobb Salad was very fresh. Burger was also delicious according to husband. Great with gluten free. Can even have the French fries or sweet potato fries. Service was very friendly and fast! There was no one in restaurant so easy in and out. Hope that was a fluke for them.

We ordered dinner for several family members and like usual everything was great. We picked it up curbside and service was prompt and the food hot. Have fined in previously and the experience was pleasant. Also they have gluten-friendly menu items which is nice for folks with wheat or gluten sensitivity.

Went for a Sunday Bloody Mary. As also was greeted as soon as we entered. Once entered, the bartender greeted us, asked if we would like menus. Had our drinks in less than 2 minutes. Could not ask for better. Even though we did not eat this visit, the menu has a wide variety or choices, including gluten free and vegan. The fiid has always been delicious.
I recently visited The Downtown Grille for the first time, choosing it based on its stellar reputation—and it more than lived up to expectations. From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional.
The service was outstanding, thanks to our server, Alex, who was knowledgeable and attentive, offering great recommendations that enhanced our meal. We started with two sides: the burrata and the octopus. Both were excellent, but the octopus stood out for being incredibly tender and flavorful.
For entrées, my clients shared the 16oz ribeye, which was perfectly cooked, while I opted for the chicken marsala. Both dishes were beautifully prepared and full of rich, balanced flavors. Two of us eat gluten-free, and the restaurant easily accommodated our dietary needs without compromising on taste.
Adding to the experience, General Manager Jon and Executive Sous Chef Giovanni took the time to visit our table, chatting with us about the menu and ensuring everything was perfect. Their passion for hospitality and attention to detail truly set this restaurant apart.
My goal was to impress my clients, and The Downtown Grille delivered on every level. In the process, I also discovered a new favorite spot. I’ll definitely be returning for business or to enjoy another outstanding meal. Highly recommended!
The bartender thought she was ordering my burger as a lettuce wrap (after confirming with the kitchen that there was no gluten-free bun option), but in the system it was just "as a wrap." She offered to have them redo it, but I kept it for the novelty (I'm not strictly gluten free). It was decent, but under-seasoned (to be fair, I omitted the cheese) and I ended up adding ketchup (bacon jam would have been nice). The veggies were excellent as is.
