The Boatyard grill is a little confused on what type of restaurant it wants to be, with an atmosphere that's not quite casual, but not quite formal. The food is good, not great, and quite overpriced. If the prices were consistently $2-5 less, and the music turned down a notch, this place could be really great. Most of the tables are set up outside, but there are a few spots inside to eat. Eating outside allows you to enjoy Ithaca’s unique downtown area. If you enjoy subs, soup, and salad then this is a good place to try out.

Collegetown Bagel got us hooked! We visited three times in just 24 hours! It's a breakfast (and lunch) champion, offering tons of choices beyond just their delicious bagels. From refreshing smoothies and thick milkshakes (and a surprising selection of beers), there's something for everyone.
We also loved the salads and the variety of prepared meals and snacks you can grab and go for a picnic lunch. Plus, shoutout to Collegetown Bagel for offering gluten-free bread and bagels!
The only thing missing was a bit more friendly service. The staff were efficient, but a touch of warmth would have made our visits even better.
