As someone allergic to gluten, I’m so grateful to not only be able to get good subs, but they are excellent at keeping things clean and avoiding cross contamination.
I had heard so much about Prince Street Cafe and am so happy I finally tried it out!! From the fun coffee flavors (and also absolutely delicious) to the surplus of meal options for me (as a gluten free gal), I was so happy with my meal! It is in a convenient location, close to so many other fun things in Lancaster and also has outdoor seating for the warmer weather days.
Their gluten free flatbread is the reason we chose to eat here, and I was not disappointed! The Magpie was delicious with its juicy chicken(big surprise). Our server was all alone and doing amazing! She took really good care of us. She took the time to ask if they'd sell me some plain flatbreads to take home, and they did! I live 2.25 hrs away, but if I ever come back this way we will Definitely eat here again! Thank you, Miss Carol, for making my wonderful sandwich and for checking what brand those flatbread are 😍 very kind. We all really liked the pickles! The fountain soda was a little weak, but the refill was not. Weird
Their awareness of their gluten free customers needs and the delicious options they offer for us are some of the reasons why I keep coming back. The food is consistent and yummy, the staff is friendly, and the prices are fair.
So glad a good sandwich shop is close by. Frank and his crew are doing a great job. The menu is simple and great variety to choose from. The ease of ordering online is a huge plus. The gluten free options a plus in our house, The truffle fries are amazing and our sandwiches were on point. Great job!!!
Really solid burger. You can tell someone put intentional thought into all the flavors that went into this sandwich.
The staff was willing to check and see if there was dairy in the buns, and didn’t make it seem like an inconvenience which is always appreciated! (The gluten free bun was also dairy free!)
I got the BACON JALAPEÑO CHEDDAR BURGER sans cheese w/ GF bun. The pickled veggies were just right to offset the grease of the burger and the creaminess of the aioli. The GF bun was also better than expected. (made with amaranth I believe? It was soft but didn’t immediately fall to pieces)
The chairs are hard, but it’s not a place designed for hanging all evening. New location is great, more space is a perk. Fries were ok. Nothing to write home about.
Honestly best hoagies I’ve had in Lancaster. Ingredients seem fresh each time I’m there and pleasantly surprised to see a gluten free option too. Staff are friendly and we appreciate the positive customer service! Will return
Best smash burgers in Lancaster County. And they have gluten free bread.
They are always hopping with business and have a small but clean dining area. I recommend food to go.
Side are fantastic. My Midwest husband says the cheese curds are the closest thing to MN State Fair fried cheese curds as he can get out here.
