Great burger joint that had a seperate gluten free menu! My coeliac partner reacts to even very small traces of gluten so to not have any symptoms at all just shows how great this place is with their cross contamination. My partner really enjoyed their burger, chips and milkshake. I would recommend booking in advance as it does get very busy!
Lovely food. Coeliac friendly with a gluten free menu (although significantly reduced from main menu - there are still excellent options). Gluten free roast pork with potatoes, gravy and cabbage and bacon salad was to die for!
We just ate here, so I can’t comment on rooms.
Authentic and tasty local food with a great atmosphere. Good gluten-free options are also available. Pleasant and helpful staff.
Would recommend!
Very good McDonald's branch. Many burgers are also gluten-free --- great!!!!
Good service and everything was very clean and well maintained... Unfortunately, here in Germany it's often not that great. We'll come back on our next vacation.
Stumbled on this place when visiting the castle and loved our experience! The owner/hostess was so sweet and accommodating. Our smoothies were delicious and our arepas were AMAZING. The fact that we forgot a picture first is a testament to how delicious they were! Great vegetarian options and entirely gluten free menu!
Made reservations several months in advance and mentioned need for gluten free. Upon arrival waiter was aware of my needs and told me which options were safe for me, as well as informing me that gluten free toast was available. Ordered ham and cheese omelette with gf toast. Simple but satisfying. Coffee was traditional, rich coffee served with milk and sugar.
Great breakfast restaurant in Salzburg, centrally located with a nice atmosphere. Very friendly service and lovingly prepared food. Vegan and gluten-free available.
We came here for Sunday breakfast on the basis of the reviews and were not disappointed.
There was a queue where we arrived and the place was packed, but staff quickly cleared tables and no one waited long for a seat, with menu and service swiftly following.
The coffee was excellent, service superb and staff spoke excellent English.
We had no problems ordering gluten free food.
A superb place for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Yor Ribs in Zell am See is a fantastic dining gem that offers so much more than just ribs! One of the great things about this place is the diverse selection of dishes on the menu, catering to a variety of tastes.
During our visit, my partner indulged in the ribs, along with pulled pork tacos and some chips, while I opted for the shrimp and avocado cocktail, a goat cheese salad, and a portion of truffle chips. Every bite was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I was particularly impressed with the gluten-free options, which were well thought out and satisfying.
One highlight of the meal was the forest fruit lemonade I ordered. It arrived in a big, fancy tumbler filled with fresh fruit at the bottom, and I can confidently say it was probably the best lemonade I've ever had!
We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes; we didn’t expect them to be quite so large but were happy to leave feeling completely filled up and satisfied.
Overall, our experience at Yor Ribs was exceptional, and we would definitely love to come back the next time we visit Zell am See! Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere!
The madness. A very cozy hut, an incredibly hospitable owner and team and the best Brettljause in the region. The absolute highlight for me was that they prepared me a gluten-free Kaiserschmarrn after I told Hubert about my dietary restrictions.
Thank you very much, we will definitely come back!
The most delicious food on the whole mountain. Perfectly prepared dishes made from high-quality, fresh ingredients. Käsnockn is one of the best, but Schnitzel is also huge and tender. There is also a gluten-free selection, the whole family could eat something special.
Thank you! We'll be back soon!
What a great tent!! Beautiful local food, friendly owners, lovely place. We had lunch here twice last week, the location is very close to the slopes, but serves quality dishes (which are often not found in the mountain pastures). Beautiful menu, from apple strudel to smoked trout. Special attention to gluten-free and dairy-free was desirable for us, that was very possible. Recommended for other #gluten-free seekers on the Austrian slopes.
Beautiful atmosphere, amazing, fresh food and wonderful coffee. Tasted just like a Melbourne brunch and coffee - felt right at home! The service was also fantastic and they catered to my coeliac friend with wonderful homemade, gluten free bread. If you’re making a stop for lunch in Salzburg, look no further!
Excellent experience. Only two items on menu marked as gluten free but waiter advised all main courses could be made gluten free. I ordered the pork schnitzel with potatoes and it was delicious!Beautiful terrace with most amazing view over old town.

We stayed as a family for 5 days in the hotel and annex in the Woferlgut.
Hotel room large but shabby. The couch was not pulled out and prepared for the two children. When asked, staff came and extended the couch accordingly and provided it with a duvet cover. This appears to have been forgotten. The shower head had to be repaired because it fell out of its socket while showering, which happened after we asked.
Room in the annex was very small, dark, cold and old. But therefore cheaper.
The facility is well maintained and very large. The swimming lake is a dream.
A paradise for children. Unfortunately the Kids Club was closed on two days because the lady was on vacation and there was no representation. The train was supposed to run twice every day, we never saw it. It was always in the same place in the underground car park. There were no Indian or stick bread evenings either. If this is explicitly offered on the website, it should also be provided, as we chose the Woferlgut largely because of the kids club.
Breakfast was sufficient and everything you need was there. Also soy or almond milk and gluten-free bread. Freshly cut fruit and sparkling wine every day.
The snacks were dishes from the last dinner as well as something new, which we also liked in terms of sustainability. There was something for everyone. Cake would have been nice.
On the first evening there was no table reserved for our family even though we were hotel guests with half board. We were sent to the games room for 20 minutes and then a suitable table would be available. This shouldn't happen to hotel guests. Our table was then prepared in the back but it was very loud and hot. In the next few days there were repeated problems of communication between the waiters regarding our choice of table.
The half board consisted of a salad buffet, starter, soup, main course (choice between meat, fish and veggie) and a choice between two desserts as well as a cheese buffet. We had regionally fresh food every evening, sufficient and tasty. Once I took myself out of half board and ate a delicious pizza that was freshly prepared by the restaurant. For the children, you can change the main course every evening depending on your taste. On Wednesday there was a barbecue buffet. Fish, turkey, beef, corn and many side dishes were served there. Unfortunately the grill master didn't cook the turkey through and the beef was also very bloody. The food also got cold very quickly.
Some of the waiters were very nice, but some were also unprofessional and intrusive, for example when it came to tips. A waiter thought he was funny - but he was alone in that opinion. Interns or trainees were also reprimanded in front of us. The drinks were overpriced.
The pool area is great. Very clean, entry from 6 a.m. Above are the relaxation rooms only for hotel guests. The underground passage to the pool from the hotel is only for children from 12 and the fitness room from 14.
We rented bikes and went to Zell am See. The wheels were in good condition.
I would definitely recommend Woferlgut as there is something for everyone.

Super nice cafe with a great selection (including cow's milk alternatives, gluten-free pastries). Everything was very tasty, service was very friendly. A real recommendation!
What a great piste side hotel! A skidoo ride from the bottom of the hill was thrilling. The food was great. We had fussy children who only ate chicken and chips all week-no problem. We had children who needed gluten free meals- no problem! The only hitch was the slow table service in the bar in the evening- a better table service would have sold more beer! Further to that, if you book your ski hire with Sport Circle (at the bottom of the hill from the hotel), they will take your shoes up to the hotel if needed, and collect their skis and boots from the hotel at the end of the holiday, awesome! A set of stairs to the boot room would also be welcome. However we will be back when they have availability. Thanks Matthias.
+ friendly staff
