Busy location for brunch, but always consistent in quality and service! Always check the online waitlist before heading to this location on the weekend. It starts to get quite busy after 10 am. I tend to order the same thing every time - the Tuna Crudo breakfast poutine. The tuna is well-seasoned and super fresh. The eggs are perfectly cooked and the potatoes are crispy and salty. The cilantro crema is subtle but adds a nice contrast. And the micro greens add a little bit of a crunch. This dish is my favorite one to order given how balanced the textures and flavours are. I highly recommend you give it a try. I’d also recommend the iced caramel latte. Perfect accompaniment to the poutine. They have gf and vegan options on the menu. My friend, who is celiac, was delighted to be able to have a gf waffle for brunch. She said this can be hard to find at restaurants. They take careful note of allergies and restrictions which gives you peace of mind when eating here. Service is prompt, staff are courteous and friendly. They work hard to get you seated and served quickly. OEB bridgeland is definitely one of our favorite spots for brunch in Calgary.

As soon as myself and my partner stepped in the door we were bombarded with an overwhelming amount of questions, even before we arrived at the desk. We tried to overlook this as we were hungry and had driven 35mins to get there. (I feel there was a lack of professionalism and more a vibe of, we just walked in to someone's house.) Attempted to look at the menu behind the front desk but questions kept coming and so politely asked if we could sit with the 1 menu in the Cafe to decide our meals. By the the time we had got down the stairs and to a table we'd been followed and asked 3 times if we wanted a drink, before we'd even chosen a table to sit at. There are 4 tables in the Cafe to eat at and put very close together. We chose a fair distance from some people already seated, so we sat at the 4 person table and a remark was made by the host, that it is ok to have this table right now but if 4 people were to arrive "we'll have to talk"! Once we were seated at our table, she returned after only a minute left alone, to ask yet again, if we wanted drinks... after stating water is fine for now. No gluten free bread options - Was pushed towards sourdough bread instead, though I'd already stated several times I wanted gluten free. And she then proceeded to push some more... and asked if I knew what sourdough bread was! As someone who's made sourdough bread from scratch many times and made it gluten free. . This is quite condescending to say to anyone. I find as a vegan Cafe you should be ready for all types of special dietary requirements. As half the menu is on toast I'd at least expect the option for gluten free bread. Especially considering most if not all desserts are gluten free. By this point we were so discouraged we decided to leave and go down the road to a different vegan restaurant that turned out to be the best decision we had made. As a business woman myself I would kindly advise to rethink your approach on customer service and how you interact with customers. A warm friendly greeting is enough. The music was also a little too loud for the tightness of space. This experience could have been so much better but we just couldn't stand another minute. Edit: As you can see the owner doesn't have a professional response to give about how they treat people. Just some hippy answer 🤣 We are extremely happy we walked out yes and voted with our money else where. But we wrote here to advise that Mondays Cafe really is just that.. ... 🌧 A better name would have been Calgarys Fakery at its Finest. Peace and love 🌈
