Excellent service, absolutely smashing staff (especially Denise who always remembers I'm a coeliac and has gluten free gravy for me, or gluten free toast if I'm having a brekkie. They always have an amazing selection of food, brekkie, cake, ice cream, salad, sandwiches and baked potato. It's super reasonably priced, the coffee is lush too! Did I mention they sometimes have gluten free cake in?? They remember their returning customers, bring your food to you and make every visit feel special. Definitely feel like a valued customer and highly recommend for any time of the day!
We went on a Sunday morning for a late breakfast, the place was buzzing, but the staff were kind and friendly. The food was delicious, poached eggs cooked to absolute perfection, which is rare! The coffee was great, and there was a delicious selection of homemade pastries. I had the gluten free almond cake, which was the best gluten free cake I have ever tried! Lovely atmosphere and the cafe has a lovely, relaxed vibe. Would 100% recommend đ
This is a great restaurant serving lovely food. Staff very helpful and friendly. I took one star off as they only have a few dishes that are gluten free. I asked if I could have gluten free Pasta with the spicy beef pasta dish but was told by the server they couldn't do it with gluten free pasta. It is a commonly used product so not sure why it was an issue. I enjoyed another dish anyway so no major problem for me.

Celiacs beware - I asked for a gluten free sandwich and was initially pleasantly surprised that they had gluten free bread stored separately. However after requesting this, the lady preparing it then placed it on the same counter full of other bread crumbs and used the same knife and butter etc which was also cross contaminated! I had to stop her and say that this isnât celiac safe and she seemed a bit clueless until another staff member helped out. Staff training on this should be much better as it can leave people very unwell!
Been here a few times for coffee and always find the team really friendly, efficient and professional with good quality coffee!
The wee shortbread that they give you with your drink is both delicious and a nice touch ⌠although the first time I had coffee, I thought it was a sugar lump on the top for me to add to the coffee so I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a nice piece of shortbread!!
I picked up a few of their baked goods this time when I was there and they were exceptionally good quality a delicious peanut butter cookie, A gluten-free brownie, Bakewell tart and a delicious caramel cheesecake slice!! 10/10!!
Whilst I was there to collect my take away I did see some of the sandwiches that they were serving and they look excellent so Iâll definitely be back to try one of those!
Highly recommended!
Had the best experience here yesterday. A lovely girl greeted us and after I explained my dietary needs she put me at ease and reassured me they could more than cater for my needs.
Food was absolutely amazing!
Anyone who is Coeliac and like me dairy intolerant too make this your first stop to eat you won't be disappointed!
Easy found just round the corner from the bus depot opposite Guild Hall.
Tasty reasonably priced food. Great and friendly service. So many options for coeliacs/gluten free! Everything can be done gluten free including the pancakes. Brownies, cookies and cinnamon buns all gluten free, so happy I found this place!
We recently visited the new coffee shop in the Culturlann centre and I have to say, it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere is bright & inviting, with lots seating and stylish decor that make it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive, making sure I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in. I have to say also so reasonably priced for the city too.
As for the coffee, it was fantastic! I tried their iced caramel latte with fresh cream & sauce and it was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of sweetness. They also offer a variety of homemade options, including vegan and gluten-free pastries, which is a nice touch. I couldn't resist trying a slice of their homemade apple & cinnamon cake, and it was absolutely delicious â moist and perfectly balanced in flavor.
Overall, I highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee in a lovely environment. It's definitely a new favorite of mine, and I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu, they have a great variety of breakfast and lunch options. Definitely will be back to try more hot food.
Caffè Nero is a comfortable chain offering an array of coffees and bakery goods. There are even a few packaged goods that are gluten-friendly.
This location is nestled into the entrance of a large retail center, so it's quite a buzzing place. There are options for plugging in and working on a laptop, but the consistent queues can be a bit distracting!
