I've been gluten free for about two years and these are the first donuts I've had in that time. They were amazing. The owner came out to greet me and told me all about their process and how they avoid cross contamination to reassure me. GF donuts are more expensive but it's only the additional cost of rice flower, no additional profit for them. Added that the donuts are those really good kinda crispy kind.
Huge gluten free menu, so I had to give them 4 stars. Kudos for that. The food is average for a restaurant chain. Good portions. My GF waffle was good, not great. I should have tried the GF French toast or benedicts. My husband enjoyed his omelette. And the mocha was great.
I love coming here for the fresh food and friendly service. The juice selection is awesome. Lots of choices and always freshly pressed. The gluten free (GF) bread is really good and comes from a local allergy free bakery. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking for good healthy clean food.
Our Girl Scout sold cookies here today and we had truly the most wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly kind, thoughtful and patient. Our celiac daughter was able to enjoy delicious pancakes and the coffee was wonderful. We already cannot wait to come back with the whole family and make this our new favorite restaurant in town!
I am so bummed! I have a severe gluten allergy and have always been able to eat here (corn tortillas, of course). Tonight, there was a fried shrimp hiding in my grilled shrimp taco. I’m already so sick, took tons of emergency meds, and am awaiting the next few days of hell that always come after getting “glutened.” There is no way to mark gluten allergy on some tacos and no place to leave a comment. I guess I’m learning my lesson that no restaurant is safe for my health. Sad because this was one of my faves. One person’s careless mistake is going to cost me days of feeling good.
Website clearly lists which items are gluten free and which are gluten-friendly. The salads and dressings and fruit are pretty safe we have found. Definitely risky for cross contamination for anything prepared in house, not factory sealed.
Totally lovable old school breakfast place, where you can find a truly all American breakfast without fear to carbs, gluten, or trans fats. But Millennials, fear not: the menu includes gluten-free stuff, avocado and plenty of toasts.
Absolutely amazing, just like eating at Le Peep when I was growing up! It's wonderful they have so many safe options for me, I have Celiac Disease and don't feel like I'm missing anything at all!
This place is both delicious and adorable! The food was incredible, we got an assortment of savory and sweet crepes along with coffee beverages. Everything was exceptional. The portions are huge we shared a few crepes and took home 3 boxes of leftovers. They have amazing hand crafted crepes with the most fantastic filling pairings! The staff is so kind and outgoing with a very service minded attitude willing to do whatever to make your experience memorable. The cafe itself is quaint and incredibly cute like so something out of movie. The owner came around to make sure we were satisfied and every one in the store seemed very knowledgeable! I also appreciate their dedication to making sure everyone is happy with their choice by letting one of the younger kiddos in our party taste a filling before hand. They have gluten free batter which is the highlight of the place, making it very easy for me to eat there and enjoy the same options as everyone else!
Seriously ignore all the 1-3 star reviews on this place (complaining about gluten free options which is part of it anyways when you order meals made with corn and not flour? or not cutting the staff a break when they are handling a lot of tables) this is the only place worth it on the south side of Denver. Great food, queso, and salsa that actually has spice and flavor in it (hard to find any semblance of real spiciness in denver to be honest so good on them)
