Wanted to go to a coffee shop on the way to the beach. Not only was the location perfect, the entire staff was so friendly and the coffee/food was delicious. Being gluten free it’s hard to find places to eat without worrying I’ll accidentally be given something with gluten and this was not an issue here. I also ordered both a cortado and a iced coffee and both were excellent. I will definitely be returning.

Went at 4 pm today with another couple and sat outside at the ocean side bar. Ordered drinks and some appetizers. After 30 minutes asked about appetizers and were not properly placed. 10 minutes later received appetizers and were good. Later ordered 2 pizzas, one gluten free. Again 30 minutes later asked about pizzas and they made a mistake with the gluten free pizza. 15 minutes later we get the regular pizza which was barely warm and burnt cheese. 10 minutes later get gluten free pizza which was under cooked. Split the bill with the couple we were with and charge it. After the cards were charged I noticed we were charged $14 for 2 vodkas. The bartender left with my card to meet with the manager. 25 minutes later he returned and gave me my new bill which was $2 less. I questioned it and requested a manager. John the manager responded and stated “ I’ll take care of it and remove some appetizers “. 5 minutes later I get the bill and only the $14 over charge was removed. We approached John the manger who states “ I only did what the bartender told me”.I told him that’s not what you said and you just lied to our faces. Very disappointed with manager John. We spent 30 minutes just sitting around waiting for them to fix their mistakes. I never post reviews but I did this time due to the manger not fixing the problem and not being truthful.

Googan is hands down the best coffee shop of its kind. The only thing bad about it, is there isn’t one in every city! they have an amazing range of dietary menu and modification options from vegetarian to vegan to gluten free to keto and more! Fantastic atmosphere, incredibly kind owners and staff, exceptional customer service, tasty drinks, food, and baked goods.
