The workers were lovely, and the banana chocolate chip gluten free muffin had to be the best I’ve ever had. It was so moist and flavorful— I will DEFINITELY be back!!!!!
Friendly owners that support other local businesses. Delicious sweet and savory gluten free treats. Recommend the Cinnamon roll and quiche and sandwich bread and Hawaiian rolls.
My wife got SEVERELY cross contaminated to the point we are concerned the “gluten free” bread they served was not actually gluten free. Food was mediocre on top of that
As someone allergic to most every breakfast food (eggs, dairy, gluten), I struggle a lot when eating at new places. Not only was I able to get gluten-free bagels (that tasted ama-zing), but also a completely vegan breakfast sandwich and an oatmilk coffee! The workers were also very fast and super friendly telling us about more GF places in town. We will definitely be going again!
SERVICE? Phenomenal
FOOD QUALITY? Phenomenal
FOOD TASTE? Phenomenal
They even have gluten free toast, pancakes, and waffles (although some cross contamination is inevitable, but the best part is that each waiter makes a point of explaining that to anyone ordering it gluten free) and even though it’s gluten free, IT STILL TASTES SO GOOD. I was in Bloomington for two full days and ate breakfast here both days. It was SO GOOD
Omg this place is ahhhmazing! So chill, relaxing and the food & coffee is great! Good decaf & sugar free options for coffee. We got the bacon & cheese gallete + a gluten free cinnamon roll THEY WERE SO GOOD 💗💗
Wonderful little bakery in Bloomington just SW of campus, get there early since they often sell out :) Last time I was in town I walked over and enjoyed the best GF baked good ever, and I’m not even gluten-free! The GF Mocha Bar 💜💜 great coffee and t-shirts, too!
Great place for breakfast, awesome Mexican grocery. They make excellent cakes including gluten free ( very good not dry). Ask for Ashley to order a cake, very fast turnaround
Raina did great she was very prompt and on top of keeping our coffee flowing . I got the gluten free pancakes as I have to with my allergy . Tasted fine however my eggs were over cooked slightly. The worst part of the experience was our table was just a little sticky . Maybe from the night before as we came in pretty early . I will continue to come back because the gluten free pancakes taste like pancakes . And Raina seemed to be the only hostess here so forgivable offenses
This is a lovely little restaurant in downtown Bloomington. It's located a couple of blocks from the IU Sample Gates. The decor and art are simple but vibrant. Oldies music added some fun; some songs ya just gotta hum along to!!🎵 The menu is pretty basic, all American diner fare. Not boring-menu items have a current twist. For example, gluten free and vegan options are available. A customer favorite is the dinner plate sized pancakes. I ordered the veggie omelette. My daughter ordered 1 of everything. 2 OE eggs, toast, fried potatoes, bacon, & biscuits and gravy. We shared a pancake for dessert. She was very hungry! The food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Service was fast and friendly. I also enjoy that many of the staff are Indaina University students. If you're in a chatty mood, go during a slow hour. Ask your server about school. If they're not busy, you'll have an interesting little chat. Be sure to support higher education with a nice gratuity.
Great coffee hangout on the downtown square with small handcrafted bites, a few gluten-free options, including milk alternatives. A must try high-quality coffee house.
We had some time between appointments and popped in here…and we will definitely be back! I tried iced honey nut latte and loved it - some places make it too sweet but this was great. My husband tried their cold brew and loved it.
AND they had a gluten free streusel bread too that was delicious. Made my day they had allergy friendly options!
It seemed like a slow morning there, but the staff was so attentive and seemed really happy to be there.
I highly recommend this place. It was my first time in Bloomington, Indiana, and this was my first stop. As someone with a gluten allergy, it was great to see the menu clearly listing allergens. The burger I had was hands down the best burger I've ever had. The restaurant had a charming atmosphere, especially with its holiday decorations. I will definitely be coming back soon!
I have to eat gluten free. I ordered choose 2, McAlister club with gluten free bread and a cup of vegetarian chili. The club sandwich was so good and the chili was good as well. Ordering was easy, the person taking my order was very nice and marked my ticket as having an allergy. Will definitely be returning.
