Terrific bake shop that carries some gluten-free items like cookies, muffins, and/or mini-pies (though it is a cross contaminated environment). We’ve been very pleased with everything we’ve had here, and the friendly service, and will absolutely return.
I ate here in late summer 2024 (coming through from WI) and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful, reassuring about measures taken to keep food separate, and their Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich was incredible! Also get the Death by Chocolate cake!
I plan to come back whenever I pass through, or even just make it a trip solely for the food.
Our waitress Melissa was outstanding. It was disappointing that there are only 2 gluten free options on the menu. The soup came o out cold. The loaded mash potatoes were excellent.
Brunch was amazing; my 5yo loved getting dressed up and "being fancy like Fancy Nancy." High end food with great options for kids and so many gluten free options. Dessert was divine!
Nice quiet place. No TV blaring on the walls. Cozy couch and chairs to sit and talk while enjoying a cinnamon roll, muffins, cookies and other tasty treats. Breakfast and lunch until 2 p.m. check the days and times. Breakfast can be Gluten Free on request. Nice size servings and you may need a take home box. Delishious hot food from server's that are friendly and quick to refill coffee and tea.
I really wanted to like Fuel. After all coffee and gluten-free items are perfect for me. So I went there for just the second time to use a gift card my wife got me.
I placed my order and showed the clerk the receipt from the previous visit, which also had the gift card number. He couldn't get it to work so I found the original gift card I was sent and gave him the QR code to scan.
After he failed to get it to work, he claimed I had already used the entire gift card amount. "That's not true," I said. "I've only been here once before and I showed you the receipt which showed I used $6 something on the $25 gift card."
He tried and failed again, claiming there was nothing left on the card. Instead of trying to solve the problem, he advised me to call someone about the gift card.
Incredibly poor and inept customer service, wasting my time and wasting the money that still remains on the gift card.
Not Fuel. But plenty of other F words come to mind.
Fooled (me). Failed. Flawed.
I have gluten sensitivity and usually order a salad and gluten free sandwich. Without a doubt 3/4 times I haven’t received my bun. I understand that it’s really hard nowadays working in food. You guys are killing it otherwise. Just sad. I love the friendliness and speed. Thank you for all you do.
Usually Ihops are pretty consistent. Stopped in around 2am for a late night bite. I have dietary restrictions so I usually keep ordering as simple as possible. Ordered a classic breakfast bowl with egg whites and sausage. After what took way longer than it should have to prepare, what I got was hash browns on the side of what looked like a breakfast burrito (Flour shell...I'm gluten sensitive). I asked if it was supposed to be a bowl? The server said yes and took my meal back while my boyfriend ate. He was almost finished when she brings a bowl that looked delicious only with scrambled eggs not just egg whites (egg yolk sensitive). I asked if I ordered egg whites because I may have made a mistake when she takes my meal again and says that was her fault. What I eventually got was good because I was hungry but the hash browns were white and mushy, way too much cooking oil and the scrambled eggs were cooked just enough. I even hesitated eating it at all but I felt bad and was hungry.
Stop asking people about their medical conditions when they order gluten free bread. It is none of your business, and no one would order that option without a valid reason, whether medical or personal preference.
I'm limited as to what I can have to eat being gluten intolerant. However they will accommodate your needs.
The food was excellent and I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. The staff made us feel welcome!
