Regular crust pizza is okay but not remarkable. Gluten-friendly crust pizza leaves to be desired. Home artisan potatoes are soft and don’t taste freshly made at all. Customer service is great; very thorough with modifications. We enjoyed their home made lemonade.
Absolutely fantastic. Quick service and amazing gluten free options on menu….you wouldn’t even know it was vegan ;)
the Kalimari is a absolute game changer!
I have to eat gluten free ( not celiac) and the Dalorit dish (roasted butternut squash) was absolutely delicious in my opinion and of course, gluten free! I would highly recommend!

I absolutely love The Acorn. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy dinner or a special night out. The menu is creative and beautifully presented, offering a wide range of seasonal, locally-sourced vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Every dish feels like a work of art, bursting with flavor and texture.
The service is top-notch, with knowledgeable staff who are genuinely passionate about the food and happy to accommodate dietary preferences. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or just curious about plant-based cuisine, The Acorn will exceed your expectations with its innovative approach to wholesome, delicious food.
The cocktails are also outstanding, with unique, well-crafted drinks that pair perfectly with the dishes. Overall, The Acorn offers an unforgettable dining experience that will leave you eager to return.
Seemed to have a lot of gluten friendly options and some gluten free. Waitress was really nice and was telling me which options were safe for coeliac. Food was delicious ! Long wait time to get a table (4) even on a Tuesday night
Gluten Free menu that does NOT use a dedicated fryer is "idiotic" because we are talking about a $600 bit of equipment - instead its all cross contaminated. Food is good but not great (the reviews say that) staff are very nice and attentive. Nice ambience
Step back in time to 2007 with this restaurant! Stopped in here after a few other places up Main, haven't been there in a good 15 years. Well, I feel like I went back in time, and not in a good way. Don't order the gluten free, it was just Costco gluten free bread in place of flatbread etc, no flavour or love. Not quite sure how it's still kicking when so many others have gone under in the area. Drinks and service was good, but food left a little to be desired.
Cozy Dutch brunch restaurant; the pannekoeks were a bit soggy for my liking - otherwise service and atmosphere was amazing.
Great to see that they had gluten-free options for brunch here!
Went for my birthday! It was our first time here. I had a lovely time, super enjoyed the Steelhead Salmon and the Cajun Cauliflower. I have celiac disease, all the staff took my needs seriously.
I've been looking for places that serve really good Benedicts. The only brunch menu showed that they have a Soft Shell Crab Benedict with lemon hollandaise sauce with a gluten free option. So, we stopped by for lunch. We ordered two Benedicts, one with soft shell crab and one with smoked salmon. We found the space noisy and drafty, not very comfortable and unsettling. So, we were just waiting to eat and get out. I opted for house greens instead hash browns but greatly regretted it because it was just from boxed mixed spring salad with what seems like a mustard dressing. I am not a fan of mustard of any kind. My soft shell crab was very enjoyable, even the gluten free bun was ok. But I'm not sure if the coating on the crab is also gluten free, but hope so since the gluten free option is $4 extra. 2.5-stars for the cold smoked salmon benedict, 5-stars for the soft shell crab, 1-star for comfort.
