I have to eat gluten free ( not celiac) and the Dalorit dish (roasted butternut squash) was absolutely delicious in my opinion and of course, gluten free! I would highly recommend!

None of their ramen broths are currently gluten free as they are using regular soy sauce. The server mentioned something to do with tariffs and their gf soy sauce delivery but wasn’t able to say when they broths would be gf again. Went there to celebrate with a group of 5 people. The wait staff were very friendly, I was greeted by each server I passed as I came in. The servers were always nearby to assist when needed and the owner was walking throughout the restaurant helping to attend to each table. The service was a 10/10 and noticeably better than most restaurants.
The food was incredible and so flavourful. We ordered most of not all the appetizers to share and they were amazing. We had a vegetarian in our group and there were plenty of vegetarian options to choose from. They also had a variety of gluten free and dairy free options too. I will definitely be returning to try their entrees. The lamb popsicles are what I have my eye on for next time. They also had an extensive drink list which included a good variety of non alcoholic options too. Are the prices high? a bit but food costs have increased and most restaurants have had to adjust their prices for this reason. For the experience and the value of the dishes, it’s reasonable. The ambience of the restaurant was nice and dimly lit. We all enjoyed our time there and I will definitely be going back again soon!

Our turbulent first night in Vancouver with hotel issues was saved by the Cactus Club Cafe. We missed our booking due to the issues, but we were helped by great staff who told us we could sit at the bar to eat. We went all in — and wow. 🤤 We had the Cubano sandwich 🥪, pulled pork tacos 🌮, and plantain chips with guac 🍌🥑 to start. Every bite = flavor explosion. 💥 The Cubano was perfectly pressed and cheesy 🧀, the tacos were juicy and fresh, and those plantains… dreamy. Don’t skip dessert either — the churros were warm, crispy, and dipped in chocolate heaven 🍫🔥.
Drinks:
Cocktails were on point — we tried the Mojito 🍃🍸 and the Havana Old Fashioned 🥃. So refreshing and bold. Bartenders here know their craft. 👨🍳👏

Went tonight for dinner. There were a number of marked GF options on the menu and others that I thought would be also. We asked about the Tasting Menu and my wheat-specific allergy (I’m not entirely gluten free). The server was knowledgeable and checked with the kitchen to ensure all items would be suitable. They made a few substitutions - specifically the soy based sauces were replaced with a mushroom based sauces. It was an amazing meal. 100% recommend.

We had a wonderful anniversary date night at Glowbal with Kyle and Pavlo as our servers. It takes an army to get us parents out for dinner in the City, but this experience did not disappoint. I have recently discovered I have Celiac, and am now that “annoying person” with a serious allergy but they made no fuss about accommodating and were so great about it all! The banter was 10/10 (so fun to chat with our servers), servers were attentive without interrupting conversation, presentation was fantastic. We will definitely be returning again and would absolutely recommend Glowbal to anyone looking for a great dining experience downtown.

The zen roll seemed to have had the taro on top swapped out for wontons (which I can’t eat because I’m gluten free).
Both went into the garbage.
We called, but after 10 minutes on hold no one answered. Surprising for a quiet Sunday night.
Absolutely will not return or order again from this location. Poor service. Go to a different location!

Me and a friend came by to celebrate my belated birthday dinner a few weeks ago, and it was such a let down, that I'm writing this review a few weeks later.
Cost was $130.00 CAD for 1 Soup, 1 appetizer, 2 entrées and rice.
The soup was good, the meatball appetizer definitely NOT WORTH IT.
The entrées were TINY, FLAVORLESS, and DRY. Could have basically just been an appetizer. We ordered: Squid, and stir-fried beef.
In addition, before they used to make the Pad-Thai gluten-free and now they don't, only offering the vegan version.
Why would I pay $26 for Pad Thai that has no meat?
Not worth the price for the amount of food and quality we received.
