Excellent food, best value on the peninsula for tacos, cocktails and a casual but elevated atmosphere. Kid friendly but nice enough for a special occasion. Hurrica is my absolute favorite restaurant in the Bay Area! From the drinks to the food to the experience, they have it mastered! They can also accommodate most dietary restrictions (I’m gluten free). Some of my favorites include tuna tartare, oysters, short rib, pork chop, black cod, and yes the list goes on and on because everything they do, they do it perfectly. Hats off to Chef Justin! I cannot have much sugar due to a fructose intolerance so Ivan, one of the bartenders, collaborated with me to create what we call the JellyTini which is a vodka martini with an essence of orange. Lastly everyone is so friendly and the service is exceptional. Now stop reading and go! :)
