After seeing a children's play at Marriott Lincolnshire,we decided to drive across the street for a late breakfast/early lunch to Walker Brothers.
Opened in 1990,this location has an English feel to it with oak wood trim and beautiful stained glass windows.
We waited only about 10 minutes for a table since we were a party of 7.
Service was great. The menu is huge plus they have a kids menu and a gluten free menu.
Kids had French toast and mini chocolate chip pancakes. Portion she was perfect.
The gluten free blueberry waffle and egg dish were amazing.
Also had their Chipotle Chicken crepes with potatoes pancakes. Chicken was blended with onions, mushrooms, and peppers in a not too spicy sauce. The potatoes pancakes could have been crispier which was my fault for not requesting them to be prepared that way. Comes with sour cream and apple sauce.
Open 7 am to 230pm daily.
Everyone was full and satisfied when we left. We will be back !
Awesome experience. AND my wife (for the first time in I don't even know how many years) was able to order French onion soup! They have a gluten free version! She said it was amazing.
The first place I have eaten in or near Chicago and easily one of the best places I have EVER eaten. EVER. The staff is friendly and courteous and the food is 'stop you in your tracks fantastic' DO NOT miss eating here and try the Union Jack IPA the hostess recommended. It is perfect. Vegetarians and gluten free welcome here. Bring a Date!!!
We got the Al pastor and carne asada tacos and the mar y Tierra plate. Everything was delicious. And Carey was incredibly friendly even helping to ensure everything was gluten free for my wife. We had a great experience
I have a Gluten sensitivity. The menu Needs more gluten free options and also need to keep in stock what options they do have. Ordered a gluten free bun for my turkey burger with a side salad instead of fries and they were out had to do it like a lettuce wrap. It was alot of lettuce for a $18 burger. Other than that service and the server was good and prompt and kept an eye on our table to refill drinks and so forth.
