Absolutely the most delicious Indian food ever! The spices were amazing, generous portions, and everything on the menu was labeled clearly for allergies, including so many gluten free options. The restaurant is very clean and the service (particularly Edwin) was so fast and extremely helpful. Can’t recommend enough!
Brandwein's is a great all-around bagel shop in Chapel Hill. They have cheerful service, fantastic bagels (even a gluten-free option) and tasty coffee (don't miss the cold brew with honey lavender syrup). The bagels have the right amount of chew and they aren't just good for NC--they're good period.
They have a order-ahead option if you're in a hurry. It can get busy on the weekends.
Everything is delicious! I am not vegan but I always eat here when I am in chapel hill. The coffee is fantastic. I get a breakfast sandwich and a smoothie every time and I am always impressed. They have lots of gluten free options.
Corey was a very friendly and good server. I am gluten free so he showed what items wood be good and assured me that they could prepare my choice. He also checked often to see that everyone in my group had what they ordered and the way it was needed.
I have Celiac Disease. The restaurant had a gluten free menu. The server was extremely knowledgeable about my options and the food was amazing!!! I highly recommend it to anyone needing a gluten free diet.
I went here with my significant other for Valentine’s Day. The food was superb - I loved the lemon and herb on the potatoes - and I was happy that I could easily find gluten free and peanut free items on the menu. Also, we enjoyed the live music. Our server was also knowledgeable and helpful. The only downside was there were a lot of people packed into a small space and it was pretty loud - but I can see why so many people would want to be here!
Food was outstanding. Very fresh ingredients used. So flavorful. Loved that their are glutenfree options. Had a delicious chicken rice bowl with a Mexican coke. Was in the neighborhood again on Sunday to visit but was disappointed it was closed. Don't let the shared gas station fool ya! Parking is limited.
I had a wonderful experience all around—great food, service, and atmosphere. We sat in on the patio and was very comfortable. The hosts and servers were all super friendly and knowledgeable. We liked how the menu was structured, such that we could choose either small plates or a dinner entree depending upon our hunger level. The plates were beautifully presented with very bright colors. We loved the pork belly arepa and the budino for dessert! Appreciated that there were lots of gluten free options!
I had a lovely birthday brunch on their patio(on a less than ideal birthday). Their staff was attentive, and their menu offers a wide variety of options; if you are vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, or omnivore then you have something to try. They are also substitution friendly, so you may have some low-carb options. The staff brought water for the table immediately, offered recommendations on menu items when asked, and brought a biscuit while the meal was prepared. The patio was pleasant, clean, and ready for guests.

I visited again, and for this visit, I would remove a star. The food was lovely(and I wrote so on the check) but the waitress with the dark braid seemed to be amused by something and I ended up sitting on the patio for some time waiting for service; I had to call the restaurant to have someone come out with a togo container. The foam container she brought smelled funny(do they have recyclable options?). I still tipped over 20%, but the waitresses this morning seemed to be on a different wavelength.
The last time I went to Elements I learned they unfortunately do not have a dedicated gluten-free fryer so be cautious when you order, even if the menu items are listed as “gluten-free”.
