Always a great experience!! Lexi and Juan are our favorites, but ALL staff is very friendly and accommodating! Plenty of GF options that true Celiacs appreciate, very knowledgeable!
Loved this place. Had great options for gluten free and great options for breakfast. Good coffee, good food, good service.
A real gem in downtown Kenosha
5 stars because I can't offer ten. A week ago, I had dinner at The Grill House in Kenosha and I am still thinking about what a wonderful meal we had.
I had the Mixed Grill Platter. Everything was grilled to perfection. There was nice char on the rips and edges of the meat and the middle was perfectly done. My dinner partner had the Shish Kabob Platter. We both enjoyed the to differently seasoned rice's with freshly toasted almond slivers on top.
The baba ghanoush appetizer was excellent. The gluten free Persian cucumbers and carrot sticks with Hummus and a different baba ghanoush was even better.
The owner, Rami, served us and everything from being greeted at the door to walking out with our leftovers was spot on perfect.
I really like middle eastern food and I have eaten in many middle eastern restaurants and The Grill House is one of the best. I will be back at every opportunity.
We came here for brunch a couple times recently. The food is legit, the service is very friendly, and the prices are unbeatable. My wife and I both got the same thing both times we were here. I got the full order of biscuits and gravy plus eggs and a Bloody Mary. It was all great. My wife got the club sandwich on gluten-free bread with fries and she said it was vey good. They changed their fries recently, and the new ones are actually a little better than the old ones. For two entrees and two drinks, our bill was $41 before the tip, which is incredible for 2025.
Great pizza and pasta. If you’re gluten-free, they have great GF pasta. The house Old Fashioned is good and the Chardonnay is also good. It’s a nice place.
Jim the owner is amazing. The cook Fred put alot of love into his food. Cindy our waitress and made sure all our needs were met. We had awesome food, where they went above and beyond, gluten free pizza, gluten free, dairy free, veg pizza, gluten free fish fry, beer battered cod, amazing flavor on the baked chicken, everything is fresh and made from scratch <3 the atmosphere when you first walked in was cozy seating area, to a beautiful fireplace in the middle and a fireplace room in the back where we did our event.
If you haven't tried the food in Cooper's Cafe, it's a must! Their breakfast is amazing! They are always my go-to for breakfast. Recently had lunch and it was equally amazing! They always have gluten free options.
Used ago love this place. Can't recommend it anymore. Fries are no longer gluten free. When served my burger, it was obviously a regular bun and not gluten free. It looked the same as my sons who does not eat gluten free. When asked the waitress to double check, she was rude and said "well I told the kitchen gluten free". She left to check and left me to not be able to eat for over ten minutes: she came back claiming it was gluten free, I was unable to eat my bun and was not offered a remake even after pointing out it matched the other gluten burgers at the table. Service was slow but that can be explained to restaurant week and Saturday night. Between the poor allergy awareness, the rude service, and the recent ADA complaints, unfortunately we won't be back.
The food is mostly very good. I enjoy the pick 3 tacos and the fish tacos. The rice and beans Re bland, but the margaritas are yummy! It's a little expensive and kind of loud, but overall a nice place. The staff is very friendly. Parking is a little cramped but ok. It's wheelchair accessible. There are vegetarian options... Not Sure about vegan or gluten free (at least for the celiac crowd) . It's kid friendly.
Great spot for brunch. We sat at the bar, which is nice and has a great atmosphere - open and airy with sunlight pouring in. We had the Two to Tango margarita, the Boom! Roasted! drink, biscuits and gravy (biscuits made that day), and the chorizo and egg bowl (gluten free). Everything we got was really good and our bartender/server was friendly and helpful.
