Came here with my mom for a quick lunch while doing errands. I had a delicious quinoa bowl, that was filling, healthy, and pretty! I had the best falafels I’ve ever had here. Whether you want to sit down and hangout or stop by for a quick bite, this place is perfect. Cozy vibe. I also have celiac and I didn’t get sick, which is always a plus! 10/10 recommend
Le Macaron is a delightful gem in Regina that has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the city. The cafe exudes a cozy and welcoming ambiance, with its charming decor featuring numerous frames that add a personal and artistic touch to the space.
One of the standout features of Le Macaron is its impressive variety of desserts. As someone who loves dessert, I was thrilled to find so many delicious options to choose from. They also cater to those with dietary restrictions, offering a good selection of gluten-free treats, which is a huge plus for me.
Parking at Le Macaron is a breeze, with plenty of spaces available, making it convenient for anyone driving to the cafe. The establishment is also very kid-friendly, making it a great spot for a family outing. Additionally, Le Macaron is wheelchair accessible, including specially designed restrooms, ensuring a comfortable experience for all guests.
In summary, Le Macaron is a fantastic cafe that offers a cozy atmosphere, delicious gluten-free dessert options, ample parking, and excellent accessibility features. Whether you're stopping by for a quick treat or planning a family visit, Le Macaron is definitely worth checking out
April 2025: First time coming and wanted to give a friend a gluten free option for a meal when they were craving crepes.
We came into this establishment not as they were opened, but we were the only ones in the cafe, but not their first customers ordering. So when we walked in, it smelled like crepes and it was a welcoming aroma to walk into.
Menus were not the same as what they had listed online, but it was ok because I found what I wanted on their menu in the shop and not online.
My crepe was very good as I had the homemade berries jam and a tea to go with it since I do not do any type of coffee.
I was in quite a rush and needed 2 gluten free sandwiches for a meeting. I called and they ended up making 2 sandwiches and had them ready for pick up for me. I am so thankful they were so accommodating and lovely to deal with!
Looking for one of the best classic cinnamon buns in the city? Definitely stop by Green spot if you get the chance. Great coffee selection as well, both for drink, pick up, and bean purchase. Cheesecakes as mouth watering. They also offer gluten-free options on some items, such as their delicious quiche.
I went to Cafe DRIP for the first time last Saturday for lunch. I ordered a gluten free chip butty (a sandwich with potato chips in it). Because of the smaller pieces of gluten free bread (northern hills bakery seed bread from Costco), they did a triple decker sandwich. It had hot, real, sliced chicken breast strips, creamy coleslaw, and Lay's regular potato chips in it. It was very tasty and filling. It was a bit hard to eat because it was so tall, but it was a nice treat from usual bland gf sandwiches haha. I also had a decaf espresso latte with almond milk, which was pretty good. It's a cute, little, warehouse-style cafe with lots of hot and cold drinks, soups and various sandwiches, and regular (not gluten free) baking. One of the owners stopped at the table to ask for our feedback. He said they recently took over 2 months ago and valued our suggestions. Great table side service, friendly staff, and a warm and clean atmosphere.
Sky Cafe Bistro is like your cozy neighborhood hangout with yummy food and a laid-back vibe. Sure, the menu isn't a mile long, but they've got your back with options for gluten-free and vegetarian folks, which is pretty cool. The food? Oh yeah, it's nice! Plus, the staff is super friendly, making you feel right at home. So, if you're up for good eats and chill vibes, swing by Sky Cafe Bistro—you won't be disappointed!
Ordered a latte and a gluten free cookie that was clearing stated gluten free. My husband is Celiac and it is buyer beware but many coffee shops have been very successful with gluten free products and training for cross contamination procedures. After eating the cookie my husband had an acute celiac attack and as you may think, it’s not great. We understand it isn’t always a given when buying food items, that he will be safe but with labelling we take on that risk. However, this is the issue I have and the reason for the review. I called the shop to let them know that there could be a cross contamination with that batch, for them to pull the cookies batch off the shelf. I was directed to the main coffee shop to talk to a more senior/manager person and when I asked for that the person on the phone said I could tell her and she will then see if it needs to involved the manager. I did explain the situation and she was very apologetic but I really wanted to get the point across that the batch of peanut butter cookies sitting at Hill Ave shop are contaminated and they should consider removing them. I got the statements that they do make it gluten free but cannot guarantee 💯 GF. Again this I know but wanted to inform them that a small batch at Hill are contaminated and I didn’t want another person with Celiac take the risk. The cookies right now are not safe, stay away. Other then that the experience and service at the time of the order was wonderful. The rating is do to the fact that I don’t think they will pull the batch off cookies as Hill Ave.
Always amazing. Excellent service, great people, one thing is that they need to listen to my order! WHEN I ASK FOR AN ICE CREAM WITH NO CONE IN A CUP, THAT DOESNT MEAN FLIP THE CONE UPSIDE DOWN INTO A CUP. They need to listen to my order in the drive thru. I have a gluten allergy and cant have the damn cone.
After a long day, I always love to see a lettuce wrapped burger like this. Absolutely made my evening for some reason haha. Who ever wrapped it thank you. Gluten allergies are no fun but this made it better. It was also very good
I drove through. The server was excellent. I was very happy they had a soft gluten free bun for the breakfast sandwich and organic dark roast. And no line up! It was great. No waiting like the other coffee places. The coffee was awesome.
